Here some of my suggestions (I've never seen VM):

Talk about men's higher retiring age coupled with shorter life spans. It will hit squarely on the male as working mule. At some point ask them how much they really want to work and why.

With regards to mental health mention; rising autism, higher male suicide, and more men with mental health issues leading to more men in jail or homeless. This touches on two themes. One is the paradox of the strong and very vulnerable male. It also touches on the issue of the lone male, without networks of support.

You can also talk about the draft and the disposability of the male (big theme).

I would also get on the subject of friendship and male bonding. Maybe even mention some ideas on male initiation and how it fits in today's world (or how where lacking one).

A few comments what you wrote:

I really like the gay (vs lesbian) acceptance point. There are quite a few gay men and I think the gay issue relates to all men in a way. I'm not personally bothered by the transsexual part but it just sounds too PC, and you want more men to be relating to this. Also What do you mean by "mother issues"; if its Eodiple that tends to make me disengage.

Putting that misandric Ted Talk in with talks about rape culture makes me think your a feminist troll trying to appropriate mens rights.

I have problems with that ted talk: "If it's bad for a boy to be weak like a girl, then what are we saying about girls?"

Add something how every dick is different. Looks different, bends different, looks different unerect or erect… how basically the notion that "a dick" is generic is a terrible assumption. Every dick is different.

I personally think that a male version of the vagina monologues would no doubt be a good thing. Stereotypes about gender and sexuality hurt both sexes, and it would be awesome for men to be able to have a liberating theatrical production of their own. I've seen a few, but none have ever been as popular and wide-spread as the vagina monologues.

Back in high school, our women's rights club put on a production of the monologues, and I think it would have benefited from a male counterpart. Or, better yet, merge the two and have one big production about how gender roles and sexual stereotypes are terrible in general, with both men and women sharing stories and experiences.

Frankly, there really aren't any good, powerful words for a penis that haven't already been shoved through the mire by countless dick jokes... I worry that if you include words like that in the title, it might detract from the seriousness of the issues.

It seems like lots of people have done some kind of version of this (like their university etc.). I think that it's a good idea to have a male counterpart to the Vagina Monologues type of thing but personally I'd be more interested in seeing it if it was something that had the same kind of discussion of issues through monologue while doing something different. Make it your own show don't just copy the exact format of the Vagina Monologues. For example: if you just replace euphemisms for "vagina" with euphemisms for "penis" it might cheapen it and make what could be some great monologues and topics seem less original (and interesting or important)

This is a terrible idea. It will not be well received, and it reeks of desperation...it screams "copycat".

I'd suggest doing an all-male revue of the original Vagina Monologues instead, with no explanation or manifesto as to why it's being done. Let folks' brains move on their own rather than trying to beat them about the face.
