This persons' issues notwithstanding, one part I've heard from others who've been through this, Courts only look @ pre-tax income when it comes to deciding payments. How does that even make sense?

This Doesn’t add up. 40 hours at minimum wage is a lot more than $50/week.

Yup. Been living in my van since 2014 cause of a similar situation. I am doing a little better now but it was a hard road to hoe for what seemed like forever. Texas state screwed me to the wall and left me there.

jail is free housing. and they're not going to get any money from you in jail, because you're already in jail. do it.

This person has been unemployed for 2 years after losing a job at a dollar store. I think that's the problem.

This person doesn't seem to understand how the family court system works. I get a victim-vibe from him, especially since he was capable of managing a Family Dollar yet he can't seem to wrap his head around the difference between the court ordering a CS payment and the agency that collects the CS payment. Spending an hour Googling family law should tell him the process he needs to follow to petition the court, instead he would rather rely on a clerk providing him legal advice.

I feel your pain I've been living on 230 a week for years while my ex wife get 350 a week right out of my check. Leaves me with 230. 3 kids
