This is an interesting point. What if men are often so violent and unempathitic because (or at least in part) of them seeing "creating life" as a 5 second ejaculation? They think a baby is there's and that they should make all the choices about what happens to it even though they aren't the ones gestating the new human or that have to deal with the pain, discomfort, stress, and (in most cases) trauma that comes with being pregnant and carrying to term.

I almost died during/right after pregnancy with both my children due to eclampsia and pre-eclampsia. I was so traumatized by both deliveries that talking about or typing up the details about it makes me physically shake, my body to tense up to the point of cramping, and tears to flow out without control. My oldest just turned 3, my youngest almost 2, and I still get panic attacks when trying to process their births.

Guys like to act like pregnancy and periods aren't a big deal. So why wouldn't they act like human life is no big deal too? Misogynistic views are so damaging in part because women give birth to all humans, ergo Misogynists see human life with far less value than almost anyone else because it came out of a woman. They probably have a lot of self hate, and even hate for other men, because they resent that they all came out of women's wombs.
