Well, the answer is obvious : they already have feminist parties in power, so... Why bother with a smaller one?

Every parties are gynocentric. It doesn't really matter to whom they vote.

Thought this would be interesting article to discuss in a left space. Its based on the UK. So the UK has 70 million people. It has a conservative government, although like many countries its complicated. Its debatable how conservative the government really are and how left the left opposition even is.... the UK has two main parties - conservatives (right) and labour (left) there is the Scottish National Party and the only real other small party is Liberal Democrats. Everyone else is just either has no seats in parliament, so irrelevant or has 1 seat.

UKIP were a party that was one issue really - to leave the EU. They had extraordinary success in terms of forcing the political parties to take notice, and of course the UK did leave EU.... after this though it is basically a non party, with no real impact.

There is also a WEP women and equality party. The article discusses them.... it never really took off, and I dont ever see it doing so.

Obama was a self-proclaimed feminist President I voted for twice. However, it bit me in the ass with the title IX stuff. Perhaps made with the best of intentions it had many unintended consequences that feminists really don't want to acknowledge, and by refusing to acknowledge a problem, they exacerbate it.

i looked at the wep platform and tbh what exactly do they stand for? they don't seem to have any specific policy goals.
