What does this sub think about Vaush?

I recently watched a couple of his streams (one with Warren Farrell and one with Shoe0nHead) to get a read on him, and I can't say I was impressed.

His conversation about feminism with Warren Farrell exemplified a lot of my issues with Vaush: he was largely in agreement with Farrell most of the way through, but about halfway through he appeared to realise that this was meant to be a debate and he'd better disagree at some point, so he started to make intellectually dishonest arguments in opposition, blindly defending feminism despite having previously agreed with Farrell about its major flaws.

He seems reasonable and moderate on the surface, but look closer and it's easy to see that his outlook is very simplistic.

He casually refers to "studies" but isn't specific about which ones.

He uses catchphrases like "trans rights!" as community mantras, as though they have an inherent, objective meaning to all and not just his ingroup.

He talks about having concepts "drilled into him" during his education, and fails to recognise that as indoctrination into what to think rather than being taught how to think critically.

Overall he strikes me as more of a cultist than an intellectual, he's just very good at masking that behind fancy words.

Looks differnet on the surface but all his core beliefs are exactly the same as all other feminists and menslib type stuff out there... opressive patriarchy, women are oppressed, social constuctionisn... boys are raised to be toxic. So i place very little value on his views of gender dynamics. It all comes down to this simplistic idea that with enough feminisn we can "liberate" men and women, abolish gender and everything will be rosy.

He was useful to listen to because i prefer to listen to people i disagree with and he was certainly one of the best at articulating the feminist position. So in the end i felt confident that its outlook is absolute nonsense

He might be coming around now that he's interviewing MRAs on occasion. And by which I mean actual MRAs not incels that are chosen as sacrificial lambs by people won't engage with us in an honest manner.

A couple people here subscribe to him. I really want him to see that men's activism is not something that only conservatives do. In his last interview with Warren Farrell, that was pretty much his only criticism against it.

"I like Farrell and what he's saying but I think he needs to do more to disown the toxic incels / tradcons / red pillers that follow him".

Instead of doing what a good SJW ought to do and questioning if some of those men become toxic or radical because society treats then unfairly. And that Warren has done a lot to counteract that kind of extremism by actually working to fix the problems that lead them to be become extremists... They like him because he appears to care and wants to help. Unlike the rest of society including people like Vaush.

I've only seen his debate with Farrell, I think he was fair and that it's his base who's toxic but he panders to.

A bit like Sargon, who while too conservative for my tastes, attracted an alt right fanbase in the ever-toxic Youtube comments.

This is his job so to some extent he is going to sell out.

I'm quite wary of him.

Leaving aside that he seems to be impersonating Destiny, the allegations of sex-pestism and whether or not he may be a wealthy California communist, The man seems to have little consistency and will play himself up and down the left-wing political spectrum whenever it suits him. He'll describe himself as an Anarchist in one stream, a Communist in the next and them play all nice with the liberals in a third stream. He's fundamentally dishonest and that makes it hard for me to take him seriously, since I never know when he's just saying something stupid to kick up controversy.
