I stumbled across a very sad page on Facebook today. There's not a whole lot to say, but I had to get it off my chest and this seemed like a good place.

The bio line under the profile pic was "I'm 13 looking to make some new friends on Facebook." The banner and profile pic were this cute little 13-year-old lying in bed on her front, naked except for thong undies. She'd propped herself up on her elbows enough to show a good bit of cleavage, but not enough to violate Facebook's terms. Her pix were mostly bikini shots including one of her in a too-small triangle top, licking a lollypop and suggestively tugging at a side string on the bikini bottom.

Of course, most of her male "friends" looked like they were at least age 30 and many looked a decade or two beyond that. I didn't post a link or any of her pix because I didn't want to help our male lurkers find someone to victimize. It just made me feel so sad. I'm not sure if I used the most appropriate flair or if "Male Depravity" would have been more suitable. Girls get inculcated so young into behaviors that will mess them up their whole lives!
