While I agree with the sentiment that members of this group hold, I disagree with the manner that they go about trying to bring about change. No organization in the history of the United States has done more to increase the quality of life of men than labor unions.

While not exclusively a men's rights group, as women can be members too, labor unions not only advocate for rights such as higher pay, more vacation time, workplace safety, and so on, but they actually exist to bring about change through group solidarity. Don't forget, it was the collective action of labor unions that brought about an end to 11 years old boys working in the coal mines.

Your anger, while justified, should be directed NOT at women who are understandably resentful at being relegated to the position of second class citizens (or not citizens at all for a large part of that time) for hundreds of years in this country, but at INSTITUTIONS that seek to marginalize, politically sideline, and suppress men who advocate for concrete increases to the standard of living for men and boys and their families.

Why should it be the case that families now require two incomes just to approach that coveted middle-lass lifestyle, while at the same time the stock market is hitting record highs, and companies are reporting record profits as story after story breaks confirming what we already knew...that the super rich and major corporations pay less in taxes than us?!

I implore you, please stop looking for things to be angry at women about, and focus on real action that can be taken to improve the lives of men and boys across the entire country, and the world.
