Because fathers can't wait to rape and impregnate their daughters, right? Abortion should be legal, for both women and men. But if you are advocating for it by antagonizing men as potential daughter rapists, you are not getting my support.

Polygamous bisexual says monogamy isn't the only option and that she was making a favour for her boyfriend by not dating women. In another post one year ago, she was playing a perfect girlfriend and asking for sympathy while blaming him for not being ready for marriage.

Because that's exactly what all the fathers are thinking about, raping their daughters, right? Dehumanisation of men at finest. I am pro choice btw, but it applies for both women and men.

You guys remember this Saudi girl, whom the whole twitter was rooting for? She is now a tatted and pierced single mom at the age of 21, who lied about the real father of her kid. WAATGM and Onlyfans creator in the making.

That’s factually untrue. Feminists lying, who knew?

Sec. 171.207. LIMITATIONS ON PUBLIC ENFORCEMENT : (j) Notwithstanding any other law, a civil action under this section may not be brought by a person who impregnated the abortion patient through an act of rape, sexual assault, incest, or any other act prohibited by Sections 22.011, 22.021, or 25.02, Penal Code.

So, that's wild, not only is it the most ridiculous thing because it just won't happen very often, even in the rare case that it does happen, the law doesn't apply.

[–]Zappaa1142 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You can’t even sue the woman getting an abortion based on the law either. Was just talking to people about this in another thread. Everyone else involved can be sued, but not the recipient of the abortion.

Facts?! Who needs facts?! Best not to dispel their outrage porn by shattering their strongly held beliefs with actual truth or you may find one day that your dog has been shot, or that you are being falsely accused of sexual crimes by several women you've never met (or that don't even exist).

Stranger things have happened...

On a more serious note, thanks for posting this to clear up that bit of feminist misinformation.

[–]goinsouth85 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

All they ever want to talk about is rape. As if there aren’t other reasons that this law is problematic - lack of a standing requirement, over broad reach, etc. But no - they have to make it about rape. It must be truly exhausting thinking about rape 24/7/365.

[–]auMatech 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Thats probably because it's easy for most people to understand what rape is, and why it's so heinous.

Where things get confusing is when the waters are muddied by these types of people stretching the definition of rape to suit whatever they like (or don't)...

Also, it's mostly for shock value. Trying to push an agenda without shock value is much more difficult, than simply using their tactic of shaming men into compliance by confronting them with the alternative of "if you're not going to toe the line, you must obviously be supportive of fathers raping their daughters to collect those $10,000"....

[–]Angryasfk 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It’s what they do, unfortunately.

[–]csgardner 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Your point is invalid because we live in a rape culture, which means everyone is not only OK with rape, society is encouraging it! Therefore no one thinks it is heinous.

[–]auMatech 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Right, that's why the logical conclusion is for fathers to rape their daughters in order to cash in on this free money!

It seems to be what our patriarchy wants after all...

(Obvious /s)

Their support for abortion is unrelated to rape anyway. Let’s say Texas had free abortion rights for rape victims and the new law for everyone else, is anyone naive enough to think that feminists would be even the slightest bit less opposed to the law?

Feminists (as a group, not all individually) want abortion to be freely available for all women without restrictions. Virtually all feminist groups have supporting that as a non-negotiable requirement for membership (I know this for a fact as I know girls who had misgivings about abortion being told this straight).

How would he stop her from having the baby and collecting 18 years of child support?

[–]AirSailer 77 points78 points79 points 4 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

A corollary to this is:

"In the United States a mother can rape her underage son and then sue (her son) for child support worth hundreds of thousands of dollars over the next 18 years.

[–]goinsouth85 39 points40 points41 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

… while also collecting child support from his father till he turns 18 or 21 (NY, NJ).

[–]DavidByron2 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

A mother can still rape her son in Texas (or any other state) and then get $100,000s in child support from him.

[–]Angryasfk 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ah but that’s justice! I mean the needs of the defenceless and innocent child come first! Of course that’s only of importance if the woman involved actually WANTS the child. If she doesn’t want it, it’s just a “group of cells” that can be disposed of and it’s immoral to say otherwise!

Welcome to ethics, feminist style!

[–]ChadWolf98 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And the daughter can just randomly accuse her father with rape regardless if its true. And everybody will believe the girl and the dude's life is ruined if he is innocent.

Let that sink in.

[–]Embarrassed-Call-925 17 points18 points19 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Love the extremes as if this scenario happens all the freaking time and isn't as rare as the Yellowstone super volcano blowing its top (which I think I'm justified in advocating for more and more as the feminist crazy continues to ramp up...come on Apocalypse, do your thing!).

Yeah, because Dad's really want to rape their daughters, and sons, and family pets, and the mailbox, and every power outlet in the house. And women wonder why men are walking away?

[–]rainingtacos31 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Not true if it was made through rape or incest you can abort it

[–]MercurysonofJupiter -4 points-3 points-2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nope. Get better sources. Only exception is of it could kill the carrier.

[–]StudentOfTheTruth0 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Let that sink in that these people who are capable of attacking men with these fully depraved ideas are complete perverts. The obscene and fully hypothetical thoughts they come up with are heinous. How many cases does anyone know, ever, total, when a father raped his daughter, let alone collected money for it? Really, give me the full list of cases, I demand it.

Let that sink in that a father who rapes his daughter - if there ever was such a horrible case - is a completely mentally sick person. SICK. You cannot then go ahead and base arguments on a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of psychiatric illness cases.

But these people wouldn't refrain from any perversion to try to attack men.

Wtf is abortion for men?

[–]Angryasfk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think it’s the “opt out of fatherhood”. At present the woman has 100% rights in choosing whether or not to a) take the morning after pill; b) have an abortion; c) if she hasn’t done that, out the infant up for adoption (she can abandon it at a police station or fire station). The father has no say legally (unofficially the woman MAY discuss it with him and make a joint decision but she has no obligation to do so).

However if she chooses to keep the child (again, he legally has no say in the matter), he IS compelled legally to pay child support for the next 2 decades. She can decide to not pursue him, although if she claims state benefits the government will go after him regardless of her intentions anyway.

The concept is that he should have the choice to opt out of fatherhood, by renouncing all parental rights, and henceforth not being liable for child support. This could have a cutoff of say 4 weeks prior the deadline for abortion in case this affects her decision. Anyway, that’s what the concept means.

[–]neveragoodtime 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Interesting that it’s the money these people are focused on, instead of putting the rapist in jail, and his not being able to profit off of his crime. I guess their not concerned about women getting raped as long as they have access to abortion.

[–]EviessVeralan 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This post comes from a pro choice feminist so it shouldn't be surprising that a bit of man hating is involved.

Along with being in denial that a majority (albeit slight) of those backing this are women.

It is just baffling that out of all the examples they could use, like an actual rapist, random stranger, boss or even boyfriend/husband, they went for FATHER. So fucked up man. If fathers are potential rapists in their eyes, imagine what they think about the rest.

[–]ImplodedPotatoSalad 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not hard to imagine - they think we are all the same. Nothing new, really.

[–]Angryasfk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well a lot of feminists have “daddy issues” I suppose.

[–]Traditional-Base7414 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This. Am pro choice personally, but modern feminism taints the cause. I think they’re just as bad as Christian fundamentalists

[–]Alarming_Draw 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I stand strongly with you sista! I will act now and-oh... wait a minute...I nearly forgot. I am a man, so, as you lot keep telling us men, I have NO RIGHT to have any views on 'your bodies' or 'your issues' sooooo.... Guess I'll have to just leave YOU to get on with that, to stop being a little cry baby when it suits you to play the victim role, and just suck it up-you are 'heroically strong women' right? Thats what you keep telling us? So Im sure youll figure it out. Run along now. Thats it.... ...fuck right off...

[–]rahsoft 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

notice how they went for the worse possible scenario in their heads in order to generate outrage- even though as u/goingsouth has already pointed out, the clause that does not permit their claim.

almost as bad as bette midler demanding a sex strike( like she is really going to notice any difference).

if that is their best counterclaim, then they won't be able to win the argument..
