Movies are constantly being made by ugly dudes about ugly dudes getting with hot younger women. A couple examples: Seth Rogen in Pineapple Express is dating a high school student played by Amber Heard. Any Woody Allen movie. I actually think you're right that they're trying to brainwash us.

The irony is that, if given the choice, almost every single person would choose to have an attractive man be their biological father. NOBODY would choose to be born from an unattractive man.

Not just ugly men but also older men. There's this belief that women are somehow naturally more attracted to older men and always have been. It just isn't true. If all else were equal, women would choose someone their own age or younger most of the time. The thing is that in the past women haven't had the luxury of choosing the men they were most attracted to. They had to consider other factors first like how able and willing he was to provide for her and their children, because women couldn't support themselves. If you take financial incentives out, it doesn't even make sense to pair up with an older man considering that women outlive men. And yeah maybe men find younger women more attractive, no one's really disputing that, but as a woman I find younger men more attractive than older. Younger people are just more attractive (once you get past a certain age, say, 35 or so). It's not a gendered thing.
