I think people like to suffer. I have a lot of resentment for not having sex when I was a teenager and I don’t acknowledge all the girls I held hands with, cuddled, fingered, made out with, got a bj from, etc. I compare myself to my friend who was having a lot of sex with a lot of girls and I feel like I missed out.

I guess I use the pill stuff to understand why better but it just hurts my self esteem. Rationally the issue was that I was too pushy, I made girls uncomfortable, and I was abusive when they rejected me.

I see stuff about height and it makes me feel worse because I’m 5’9, and I’m like ok, my friend was 6’1 maybe that’s the only reason girls like him and not me, and then I get angry because I feel like I’m inferior.

But rationally it’s bullshit, a lot of girls have liked me, so idk. Blue pill, red pill, I don’t know the answer.

I think looks matter but they can be improved and you have to play with the hand you’re dealt, you can improve your personality, hygiene, style, etc. and those will definitely help, it isn’t as hopeless as people here make it sound.

Most women are good people, they’re not as bad as guys here try to make them sound.

I guess I’m just bored and suffering in my insecurities is a sort of sexual release where I can fantasize about being a more attractive person to get more attention from women.

I have a lot of traits of covert narcissism, and I’ve come to the realization that the misery is part of my disorder which then makes me seek out attention, so it’s like I need the unhappiness to motivate me to me be the person I want to be, but part of that is never truly being happy with myself

Freud would say that everything we do boils down to some biological need. If we do something, and we aren't doing it because we're hungry, and we aren't doing it because we're cold, and we aren't doing it because we're in pain, then we're probably doing it because we're horny.

Freud is wrong a lot of the time, but I think that's where he just completely fucking nails it.

The thing is, when I was blackpilled back in the '90s - before the word "blackpill" existed - I wasn't doing it because being blackpilled made me horny. I was doing it because I was in pain, and self-righteous anger is less painful than self-loathing misery.

I'm purple now, but I found TRP while I was married by getting linked from deadbedrooms to seddit to TRP in an attempt to understand and fix the deadbed situation.
