CURRENT EVIDENCE
According to the redpill main tenet, men are sexually attracted to most people of the gender they are attracted to because their sexuality is not hypergamous, women are attracted to only a minority of people because they are hypergamous. The question here is: what's the actual amount fo people women are sexually attracted to? Studiesspretty clearly show that most men would have sex with most women. Multiple studies in social science show that more than 70% of men would have sex with a random woman asking them in public to have sex, studies that control for the attractiveness level of the female asker still show that most men would say yes to sex. These studies inevitably show that women say yes very very rarely and when they do it's usually to attractive men, various explanations have been given and the most popular among RP detractors is that stranger threat is the main factor behind this gender differences. If you are interested, this is the data from one of these studies.
WOMEN'S TAKE
Given that we can't conduct direct experiments on the topic due to the confounding factors mentioned before, I tried asking women but the replies I got either confirmed RP or dodged the issue. First of all, most women seem to be shocked after you show them that most men are sexually attracted to most women, in the past this led me to believe that women felt offended when they got called hypregamous not because they weren't but because they felt that hypergamy was the normalcy and interpreted the term "hypergamy" as being attracted to very very few people, like less than 1%. Other women on Reddit even called me creepy for pointing out these studies, years ago I had a debate with the female mod of AskFeminists who literally said that being sexually attracted to most women is "creepy" and that normal non-creepy men have standards, she called the studies "biased" without even reading them.
Other women are less easily weirded out and will give you an answer and well, their answers are not reassuring. They usually express very small figures, like 1%-5% or at best 10%, and blame this on average men not taking care of their apperance which is basically the same axplanation BPers give to explain why women find few men attractive on dating apps. The problem with this expalantion is that it doesn't explain why gay men still find most men sexually attractive. To give you an example, I have never had a woman interested in me sexually or romantically. I'm dateless wit hwomen: 0 matches on dating apps, no woman has ever approached me or shown any interest in real life etc. Yet I can get attention from gay very easily when I look for it. I tried switching my preference to gay men on dating apps and my match rate was insanely high, 30-40% match rate, the same exact rate as average to above average women on straight OLD so I was being judged the same way straight men judge women. I was shocked, I matched with men of all looks levels, hundreds and hundreds of matches, including hot guys. I received so many cute messages and compliments, I literally never felt so desired. I'd say it's safe to assume that most gay men my age (23) find me physically/sexually attractive since often they show interest in me in real lifel too, this percentage is close to 0 with women. By the way, this is not just me, this is every average to below average looking straight guy who has tried the gay dating experience. This is an upvoted answer from a gay guy that I've read on r/AskMen, it sums up my experience well:
Gay guy here. I've said this here before... and I'll say it again. Gay guys have an appreciation for men that's on an ENTIRELY different level than straight women do. I think most gay guys can see the average guy as probably hotter than a straight woman might. Basically we see men... with that same primal desire that straight men have for women. So if you've been on straight dating apps as a guy... you'll definitely notice a difference in the interest you get if you change your preference to dudes. Because you're suddenly being seen with the same interest that you have for women.
If you don't believe those answers from women I reported, just read these threads:
r/AskWomen: What percentage of guys look cute to you? Average response is 1-2%. Some women said they found 10-15% of men attractive if they considered only men in their own age bracket.
r/AskMen: What percentage of random women as you go about your day are you immediately physically attracted to? Estimates range between 90% and 20%.
r/AskWomen: Do you think sexually about your male friends? Average response is "very rarely".
r/AskMen: Men of Reddit: what percentage of the women you know do you want to have sex with? Estimates range between 90% and 60%.
A significant minority of women seem to identify as demisexual, that is they can only feel attracted to people they have got to know but even these women usually say they find few people sexually attractive even among those they know well.
DIFFERENT SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT
BPers, and I include feminists in this group, believe there are no gender differences in sexuality. Personally, I find this theory absurd. I've noticed that BPers often project their own sexuality on the opposite sex. Women who believe in this theory think it's normal to find very few people sexually attractive and will consider men who are different as "creepy" or "objectifiers who can only see women as sexual obejcts", BP men think it's normal to find most people sexually attractive and will consider prudish women who are differennt. When BP men and women try to discuss this instead of ignoring the elephan in the room they usually blame the gender difference on women taking more care of their appearance. Unfortunately queer people are ignored in these discussions, otherwise these BP people would quickly realise that gay men - unlike straight women - are sexually attracted to tons of people of the gender they are attracted to just like straight men are.
RPers believe hypergamy explains everything and that everything revolves around Looks, Money and Status. Women are thought to be attracted to only 20% of men looks-wise. If you aren't part of this small group of "chads" you need to become a top 20% status-wise to attract women, this way you will trigger a less sexual feelinsg in women but they will still be romantically into you since they will feel "protected" around you, not a good way to get a relationship full on fun sex but this is betabuxxer way.
I'm not saying RPers are right but they seem to at least get more things right than BPers simply because they ask and try to answer more questions. What's your theory instead?
TL;DR
