That must be so frustrating. I wish that the number surveyed was too low to accurately represent the entire dating population, but that's how LVM think I guess 🤦🏻‍♀️

As much as I love love love board games and board game cafes, I don't think I would be keen on going there for a first date. Board games are great for vetting, but not that early. Any thoughts??

Any time a man on OLD asked me to go for a walk I felt like I was role playing as his dog 😭

The only time I would agree to a walk is if it was an outdoor courtyard after we eat at a nice restaurant to talk and look at the shops, especially during the holidays when everything is decorated for Christmas and I won’t sweat my makeup off. But not going for the sole purpose of a walk 🙄

My city is extreeeemely casual, I mentioned below it's kind of like the Portland of my country. If I vet on OLD for no walk, no drinks, no coffee dates I literally have to next them 19/20 times. The idea of taking a woman to dinner for a first date is essentially defunct where I live. I don't really bother with OLD since finding FDS because if there are HVM around here they aren't on these apps... 😭

Walking dates are lazy and low effort. A man offering a woman a walking date is creating a false sense of intimacy, as the public may view them as a couple. Or that the man is showing off a woman.

Walking dates are also dangerous . You never know what your date is capable of.
