Hi! Hoping for some advice or ideas on new hobbies I could explore.

I feel like I have pretty standard hobbies and I’m not sure if they all could even be categorized as that. I enjoy cooking, baking, I am learning how to make bread, gardening, and hoping to get into canning next summer when we’re able to grow vegetables. I love makeup and skincare, but again, I’m not really sure if that counts as a hobby!

My bf and I share some hobbies, but if I’m honest, most of them I just do to make him happy - hiking, fishing, and skiing in the winter. We live in a mountain town so outdoorsy type hobbies are the norm. I enjoy being outside and staying active, I just wouldn’t classify myself as a super outdoorsy girl (compared to other people that live here, I guess!)

I’m thinking I want to find something where I am able to express my creativity a bit more. I have acrylic and watercolor paints, but am terrible at it so I’ve just given it up lol. But maybe I could get into that again?

I also love the idea of knitting, crochet, or sewing. But I don’t know which would be best or easiest for me to get into?

Jewelry making? I don’t know! I have a hard time making a decision and I don’t want to spend a ton of money on supplies for something I won’t even enjoy.

I’m also trying my hardest to JUST view this as a hobby and not a means to make money. I am a designer and creative and business owner so I feel like any time I master a new creative skill I am just thinking about how I could monetize it. But I really want something where I can express myself and de-stress and not think about work. Right now I feel like I just scroll my phone or watch Netflix in the evenings to unwind, and I’d like to change that
