The article didn't say anywhere that his wife was abusive. Why make up a detail like that?

Im not sure if I missed something in the linked article but there is no mention of any actual abuse. It states that he said living with her has become unbearable, and that he couldn’t stand it.

No reports of any physical harm to the man, and no mention of verbal, mental or emotional abuse either. While it sucks that whatever is happening is that bad for him, jumping to the conclusion that she is abusive isn’t appropriate. Until there is some mention of it then this is no better than the false accusations many aim to get rid of here.
