The question is, how do you get from here to there? I'll tell you my story. The first picture has so much to do with naivete, youth, inexperience, co-dependence, thinking you've got "the one", not knowing what to put up with vs what to walk away from, and so on.

The second one is all about experience, a developed brain, zero co-dependence, realizing that dick is abundant and low-value, knowing how to vet, being financially able to walk away, and realizing one's own worth is never worth any struggle whatsoever. It takes years, decades even, but so worth it.

It feels good to just ghost dudes who step out of line now. No arguing, no stress, just getting the fuck out of there.

When I cut off my ex for trying to complain about me to my friends (he wanted to “tell his side”… out of nowhere… they’re not even close with him), he threw a giant tantrum while I was so stone-faced and felt nothing. It was glorious.

Old pickme me would’ve been like ooohhhhhh whhhhhhyyyyy, why would u do such a thing😢, trying to appeal to his humanity, as if he had any to begin with.

The peace you feel once you are on the other side is so worth it. There is so much anxiety and feelings of unworthiness when you are in the “old you” but when you get to “new you” it’s just liberating. You realize your worth and no man is ever worth begging for. And interestingly enough, it’s usually the ones you begged for which are some of the lowest to no value men.
