Current Red Pilled men, what is one problem you face(d) that only Red Pill had a solution for?

It was never really about self-improvement for me. That is very universal. It’s just that the rules of dating have changed so much recently and now they have a lot of inconsistencies. Men have been discouraged from approaching women the traditional ways but at the same time, we’re still expected to fulfill much of our core traditional roles such as being the pursuer. It’s all very confusing, especially being an autistic guy in his early twenties. These RP gurus are the only ones who have been able to give confused men like me practical advice. The only other advice we hear is empty, vague advice like “just be confident”.

I’m not saying that this RP advice is necessarily effective or sustainable at all times, but it provides a map that’s a little more detailed beyond “ just be confident, lol”.

I'm a 19 year old virgin that started university 4 months ago. I went to an all boys school so I had practically no interaction with girls before this and so I had no desire to get a girlfriend or have sex - I really miss this lack of desire. Now that I'm at uni and surrounded by girls and guys that r slaying pussy I have become obsessed with getting laid. This obsession and constant failure has made me even more depressed and suicidal than before. All I wanted to do was lose my virginity so that my mind would stop bullying me every day for being a loser virgin and I could continue focusing on more important parts of my Life like studies. RP saved me from this constant obsession. Now I'm more focused on improving myself and while I might die a kissless virgin, at least by that point I would have built an empire of money and muscles to die with. Basing my happiness and validation on women was so dangerous. Now I can base my happiness and validation on myself and my own fucking drive.

My whole life I was always treated like The Joker, and TRP told me that if only you follow us, beta males (basically all guys who don't follow us) and all girls will flock to you. It didn't turn out like this.

How to understand certain social issues and interactions between the genders, I'm autistic so my social abilities are screwed already lol.

There were many times where I couldn't understand why some things happened in my social environment, and the politically correct answers didn't really satisfy me nor seemed to actually explain things, the redpill actually did, no romanticism or sugarcoating reality, just the cold but certain truth, regardless of how misogynistic or old fashioned it may be. My life since then (I discovered it when I was like 13, imagine) has been better I think, in this age were anti-men/feminism sentiment is so big the redpill feels like a love letter for lost young boys like me, even if I'm no longer a boy by this point.

Of course there's the more bullshit side of the redpill and I usually don't enter that because that's were all these "coach guys" and PUAs are and they give me the creeps lol I usually ignore that in favor of the actually good content.

Great thread. Kudos to OP. This is the kind of stuff I'm in this subreddit for.

Stuff like "actions speak louder than words" is supposed to be common sense, but for some reason it seems it's mostly RP applying it to dating.

I'd say red pill today is mostly a flea market with hustlers trying each to sell you their version with no regards for what is actually a decades-old discussion. I'd say Esther Vilar single-handedly kickstarted red pill in 1971.

For anybody consuming more than one or two red pill writers they're probably going to get in a toxic loop with the hustlers and realize down the road that they should detox. But mainstream culture makes it hard, telling you such blatant lies as be yourself, equality means we're all identical, be a real man and ignore all risks of getting fleeced in marriage, etc.

Because you don't really hear about the faults of women in dating outside of it which lead me to believe that all issues I've had with women were because of me. Redpill answered the question I didn't know I had which is that women can be shitty and don't need me to night for them.

Redpill takes it a step too far in that it villainizes women in a lot of situations which ironically creates a problem similar to what they claimed to want to solve which is the lack of accountability from women in relationships. Redpillers won't take accountability for their wrongs in some situations the same way many women feign innocence for their entire sex.

But the leading reason I chose to listen, not adopt (because from my experience online when you subjugate yourself to an ideal your personal values suffer and you start lying to yourself) is because one of their core values is that you should focus on yourself.

At a time I believed that I could find a woman and we both lift each other up to be the best person we could be and that's what many persons claim they want. Male and female. I know about the men because my brother is a womanizer that uses women and I thought the only way women could do a similar thing is if they were gold diggers and I was well off.

But that isn't the case at all. Through experience and reinforcement from a lot of these red pill guys is that my time is worth just as much as anyone else's. I used to put effort into trying to court a girl by giving her attention and helping out with her needs and validating her because that is what I was told I needed to do.

I expected nothing. In the back of my mind I wanted sex, sure, but I never pressed anyone for it. I felt guilty for wanting that and everyone on reddit shames anyone for treating women nicely if they expect sex at all. Yet if a woman wants and has a lot sex, which she could get with minimal effort, she is celebrated. Reddit shames men for taking any agency in trying to get sex by raising their self worth and being nice to women.

I think there is a discrepancy in the equality of men in relationships because we still have to put a lot of effort in and take high risks for rewards that ultimately may not have been worth it.

I don't subscribe to the redpill ideology because listening carefully to the gurus there is definitely subtle misogyny driving their passion if not greed. But I genuinely think that as a man many of the messages they put out need to be heard because men don't value themselves enough which in turn leads to the shitty situation a lot of women face in the first place anyways.

With the rise of simping women don't value men as much as they used to while at the same time being valued way more in a lot of social settings. There self of self worth gets shot and they end up with anti-social tendencies sending dick pics to random women at the hope they get validated in some way. They don't take care of themselves and let women dictate their level of happiness and drive for success. Call it toxic masculinity if you want but I think men need to get back to valuing a go-getter self driven attitude. So as shitty as Redpill can be it has a place.

A lot of these points I'd like to go more in detail with but this is long enough.

I was drawn into it when I heard AMS explain why things between myself and some women fell apart. Like when he explained that women lose interest if I make myself too available to them or I compliment them before I get what I want from them, I was mind blown. I never knew that giving free attention/validation made women view me as “low value” until then. Then hearing all of his advice about earning money, style, frame, swagger just made me want to dig deeper and deeper.

I still think AMS has bits and pieces that I agree with. I never watched PUA videos but it seems that they don't focus on how you treat women in general, how you carry yourself, your ambitions, etc.

AMS doesn't really feel much sympathy for men, because we all have the ability to improve one way or the other, when it comes to parts that we lack. I also like his abundance mindset idea, to not get so hung up over one woman. And to not let a woman treat you like you are beneath them.
