As many of us know male sexlessness has skyrocketed. This is primarily due to hypergamy, as women advance economically they still prefer men who make more than themselves. As a result unless men can make up for this in terms of physical attractiveness, obtaining a monogamous relationship has become much harder.
These are two ways I could vision society mitigating this problem.

  1. Normalize Polyandry (women having multiple partners.) If a man can overcome the jealousy I would imagine sharing a partner would be better than singleness. This may also be a favorable compromise for women who struggle to find a monogamous partner who mets her income standards.
  2. Normalize men forming strong support systems to compensate for the lack of romantic intimacy. What do you all think?
