She has already decided. She needs social approval of her decision. This is why it's dangerous for men to open up about their vulnerabilities, emotions and weaknesses because all of these will be gossiped by your partner's friends and they all together will decide the fate of your relationship. You lose the leverage when you are not mysterious.

She'll leave him because of 3 reasons:

Majority of the opinion is false accusations are rare and they say it without evidence.
He is guilty until proven actually guilty.
He's not mysterious anymore, his past shows he struggled mentally and now he expressed his most vulnerable moment of his life, it's an instant turn off.

Sooooo not only do we have to worry about a crazy lady telling a story that could take our livelihood but if you’re lucky enough to have evidence disproving the allegations and share your story, you’re still branded dangerous?

red flag - run !

hes lying the police take much longer to investigate( or in this care they rarely do)

those who make false claims are sent to prison( for a lenient sentence) and its rare ( which is BS because CPS only prosecute for public interest, which because of politics means no)

- those alone are a good reason why false accusers should have a record and/ or prison time.

This. Here is why false rape accusations account for only 2%.
As soon as police discover that its false, they stop further investigation and close the case.

The 2-10% that are 'proven false' are the ones that get charged, but later proven false. (Or the accuser confesses in court).

The actual number of false-accusations would way higher. Closer to 50% of reported cases..
But unless false-accusations are criminalized, we will never know the exact number.

I'm sure the man's name was smeared all over by the press due to his arrest (with no subsequent mention of his exoneration).

Yeah, ... whatever ... also happens the other way 'round ... and all different kinds of circumstances/criteria. Some just don't want to risk it or do the work to actually find out or try to find out.

E.g. if that person has ... gotten accused of something ... legally, or social media, or maybe someone just runnin' around badmouthing them. Or maybe they got arrested ... for something they not only didn't do, but were later totally exonerated.

So ... would you date the woman thrice arrested for bank robbery? Why not, she was never convicted, and the statute of limitations has run out. Okay, ... what if you saw her just barely not come to a 100% full stop behind the limit line of that stop sign? So ... where exactly between will you draw that line? ... and where will she likewise draw the line for any guy she might possibly consider dating? How much risk/hassle is one willing to take regarding someone with unproven allegations or the like?

The best way not to get accused of rape is to fly under the radar and not have sex.
