i'm referring to actual right-wing positions that almost all prominent MRAs espouse, like global warming denial, austerity for the poor and bailouts for the rich, union busting... these are all unabashedly right-wing positions
[+]Cad_Cam_CNC1 points [recovered] (13 children) | Copy Link
You are very wrong about that. Global warming denial is on both sides, that stance in not fixated on an economic wing. Why would right wing want people to be poor? The right wants every one to be rich. Just take a look at California with the highest disparity between the rich and poor and the entire state is strictly controlled by the "Left" Union bashing is also done by both left and right. Look at what is happening to Starbucks right now. The left leaning CEO and management is actively trying to stop the starbucks unions. Same is happening with Left leaning Jeff Bezos and how he is actively stopping unions in his company. Just think where do you hear those stances? Evertything you mentioned you probably only heard some one from the left telling you what the right is against.

i think democrats aren't necessarily left. they don't even call themselves left and are more serious about keeping sanders down than defeating the republicans in elections. i think you have a point about global warming. i shouldn't have brought it up

Democrats are leftwing just not as progressive as Sanders. They want big centralized government along with centralized corporations. And half of Republicans want that also. As a right winger I want big corporations and monopolies gone! I want more citizens to be buisness owners. That's the only way to give workers empower them as owners and have less big buisness.
[+]nineteenletterslong_1 points [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link
in my vocabulary worker empowerment as owners and right wing are opposites so i'm afraid it's a matter of definitions
[+]Cad_Cam_CNC1 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link
I want worker empowerment by giving more small buissness ownership to more people, breaking up monopolies and allowing the avearge person access to compete in the market, you want worker empowerment by removing the market and centralizing all workforce to be controlled and regulated by the state.
[+]Korvar1 points [recovered] (6 children) | Copy Link
That is demonstrably untrue. The Right wants the very rich to be richer, and everyone else to be cheap labour.
[+]Cad_Cam_CNC1 points [recovered] (5 children) | Copy Link
Why would that be when there are more left wing billionaires and millionaires than the right has. I view the left in seeking absolute power and control. Right wingers dont own super corporations. Big tech, big corporations, institutions is all owned by the left. Right pretty much only cares about their small buisness and just living comfortably

You're falling for corporate marketing if you think that big companies are "left-wing" in any way.
[+]Cad_Cam_CNC1 points [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link
Right wing stance wants unregulated free market. Left wing wants centralization with a controlled market. Corporate loves centralizing control while small business wants de-regulation of the market so its more equal. How is corporate right wing?
[+]MelissaMiranti1 points [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link
An unregulated free market results in monopolies. It's inevitable. That's exactly what right-wing ideology wants in its most extreme form.
There is no form of left-wing thought that prefers large corporations existing, and certainly not monopolies. You're conflating a centralized economy, in which the state runs everything, with a system of monopolies or oligopolies.

Thats not true . I want business regulation . I dont want the market regulated (what buisnesses decide to sell and at the cost they sell)
