This post shows the double standards with which expressing having standards for a partner is treated based on gender. There isn’t any problem if men are told that they must lower their standards but saying the same to women is not socially acceptable. I have seen numerous examples of posts and comments similar to the given examples on this site.

The same goes for 'working on yourself'.
Man is overweight, making below average money, stays home and watches Netflix during his free time? Dude needs to lose some weight, hit the gym, get some REAL hobbies, and put himself out there until he drops!
Woman is overweight, making below average money, stays home and watches Netflix during her free time? Oh the right guy just hasn't appeared and the guys are missing out on WHAT A CATCH she secretly is.
Men are always told to work on themselves. Women are perfect no matter what.

Not only does it not concern all species, but what you are doing is called the fallacy of appeal to nature. The human species has distinguished itself from all other species on the planet by being able to think and to question the established order.
Just because there are species where males have to fight a duel to the death to impress a female does not mean that we should kill each other to seduce women.

If you'd only look a little further, you'd find that we do believe in biology. We just have more nuanced views that are more in line with the actual science.
I suggest you carefully read our mission statement and our moderation policy. If you can't agree with those, you should probably move on.

This is the most embarrassing instance of someone debating themselves that I've ever seen.
"Be constantly told [he] has no value in society and [he] should just shut up."
Welcome to the background radiation of many men's lives.

Want to specify that the comments with the purple avatar are not the same person

Double standards on twox, sure. But at the end of the day, her comments don’t impact the reality that a lot of men, especially younger ones, are going to avoid women who already have kids, and that’s just not something you can shame away no matter what they say on twox. They are just screaming into the wind, they get no say on who we select what so ever.

So strange that some women will call men all sorts of insults for not wanting to date single moms but women who believe the same about single dads get praise and the same women agreeing

It’s not strange it’s strategy. A Femaledatingstrategy to be exact.

Its also a complete myth that incels only want supermodels and refuse to settle for less. Ive read plenty of incel forums and actual incels would fuck pretty much any woman that would let them. Feminists have to straight up lie about incels, because if not, it shatters their worldview. Incels are proof that female privilege exists independent of "the patriarchy backfiring", which they just refuse to acknowledge.

Incels are just one of the many examples of how Men's issues are turned into personal failings and the topic quickly shifts into being a woman's issue(ie:Misogyny!! Rapists in the making!) and Women's agency in Society is conveniently hidden. Whether it be suicide rates, homicide rates, life expectancy, homelessness, workplace deaths, conscription, male sexual assault etc etc This gambit is omnipresent:-
Deny Women's Power&Agency in Society
Re-Contextualize Men's issues as Personal Failings
Call anyone who challenges the above 2 points as a Misogynist or a Loser

Damn right. The first point in particular is extremely rarely challenged. Do we have a post that does so already? If not, I think we should change that. This needs to be more well known
