TX divorce with 5 yr old. Discovery is due. One of the interrogatories is have you had sexual relations outside of the marriage?

I’ve been totally open and honest with my legal team. I’m not proud but there was 1, and it was committed. No resources expended from the marriage either. It’s not ok either. Wife is a BPD/narc and while I’m not proud I have stepped out. Wife had abused us emotionally, medically and financially. Never worked, secluded us from friends and family and I had to fight to get child in school and potty trained (she sabotaged his potty training to keep him from attending school and her job security as the warden of us/babysitter)

We went to 1 mediation, then had 2 postponed. Currently “nesting” with child and going on 7 months. Our last mediation was cancelled and then other side escalated to formal discovery which we don’t have much at all money wise. I was also informally accused (her att to mine) of fathering a secret baby with a woman I’m currently dating. (Child is not mine and I went and had a private test done to have it handy for proof just in case).

I don’t want to let the ex have a cross to bare or make this about something it’s not. If they are accusing of a secret baby that’s so far off and easily proven wrong then they don’t have anything. Attorney is saying since I’ve been open and honest they can’t represent me if I choose not to disclose it and I’d have to hire someone else and not disclose it. I hate to switch horses mid stream and I’m already 25-30k deep. Don’t know what to do. Only thing I can think of is to try and tell attorney i was embarrassed and wasn’t truthful with my attorney and was only an emotional affair? See if they are willing to keep going with me and take that? Allow me to not disclose that?

Wife also has constantly accused of infidelity when there was none over the years. (A form of abuse)

I just don’t know what to do. The team is really good but they are also high dollar and I’m a small fish. We totally botched a drug screen request and court dates, her attorney ran circles around us and they managed to wiggle a 90 day screen instead of 120 day screen after stalling a month. I’ve wondered if I’m in good hands. I know they are good and capable but wondering if they are trying to fire me? Are they just bluffing about not repressing me ? I just don’t know what to do. Any advice is appreciated.

Also, I came with double retainer to start. Have been low maintenance the first few months and always kept my bill prepaid or paid current.
