To say a gender pay gap exists is a hate crime and it should be treated as such in countries that have hate crimes legislation.

For Those who are not aware, or the lurkers here, the disparity in gender pay at the end of the year in the US and Uk is explained without the effects of any imagined patriarchy.

One, men work longer in full time. About 11 hours longer per month. To divide the earnings by the same weekly rate of 37 to 40 hours is a fraud as men worked longer and therefore earned more.

The other is that men work in higher-paying jobs statistically and women are not precluded from these jobs. But they avoid them.

About 25 % of the economy is made up of dirty or dangerous work environments and men dominate them all. Construction, infrastructure (repair included), energy, mechanics, chemical industries, fishing, mining, forestry etc etc etc. these jobs pay more because employers need to incentivize workers to show up regardless of gender.

Not demonstrating the stats this way is a fraud and is no different than any loon saying a cabal exists from an ethnic group depriving people of of rights or money. Which is also a fraud and a hate crime in most countries. As it should be.
