It is her body , it is her choice, 100% my opinion. She should be able to have that child if she wants too.
But wait a second.. on the other hand… that being the case..
The father should have the legal rights to officially indicate in the very beginning that he does not want that child. And the moment he declares that he does not want that child , he should be able to sign a legal document legally forfeiting said father from all obligations both financially and socially and everything else.
It’s not fair that they both have 50-50 part in creating a fetus but the (female) 100% decides they want this child while the other 50% (male) does not want this child , has no power over its birth and therefore has to spend 18 years legally obligated to financially support this child no matter his wishes and what he declares. It’s 100% bullshit! For the father, it doesn’t matter at what point he decides he doesn’t want it he is legally obligated to finance this child. If it was the female “other 50%” that does not want the child she is not obligated to do anything but get rid of it at any point in this child’s existence. She can abort it or drop it off somewhere or let somebody else adopt it. In my I opinion this is criminal unfair and 100% avoidable.
Edit: legally obligated to finance
Edit: 2 TL/DR. No matter what he’s always stuck paying for a kid and she isn’t at any point.

Can't you say the same for women though? They choose to have unprotected sex as much as the man does. She can say no.
You are putting ALL of the onus on men when it comes to sex. Like th woman has no choice at all.
As soon as a penis enters a vagina BOTH the man and the woman have made a choice.
If both have made the choice, why only give one party the option to exit if a pregnancy happens?
What you advocate for is extremely sexist. You believe that men are the only ones in the relationship that has the agency to know what their choices mean going forward. You think only men should understand the gravity of the act of sex and women are just along for the ride that a man has put her on.
You invoke the name of feminism but at the same time treat women like they are children.

I really don't care for the "what-about-ism" defense. We are talking about equality between men and women here. There is no other option than to speak of both sides and the balance between them. Calling something "what-about-ism" is a way to escape the real conversation and avoid the real discussion.
I will ignore that comment.
The reality of the lives of women in first world countries are able to have abortions and are able to legally surrender their child for adoption.
Women get the option to not be a parent if they so choose to do so.
Saying that men need to take care of their children is ignoring this fact about the rights of women. We are in a forum that is talking about mens rights in comparisson to womens rights.
Therefore, I believe that men should be equal to women and have the same rights as them in accordance with the law.
You seem to believe that men and women should take responsibility for their actions. That is not what we are here to discuss. We are discussing rights under teh law for men and women and not what we "think" men and women should do in this situation.
Men should be given the same options and rights as women. Period. Full stop.
If you want to change those laws and rights, then you are free do to so if you wish.
