I'm glad to see the backlash and criticism MeToo has been getting lately with the Johnny Depp case and people are seeing it for the fraud it is. While I think it started with sincere intentions in the beginning, right away it got hijacked and corrupted by radical feminists who weaponized it into an anti-male hate and smear campaign to ruin the lives of innocent men with false accusations and pushing their ignorant and dangerous "believe all women" rhetoric. Almost never acknowledging male victims and female perpetraters of abuse and sexual violence, destroying due process which has resulted in many innocent men being punished and imprisoned for crimes they've never committed and lying women who can laugh all the way to the bank. It made men and women fearful of one another and led to blatantly misandrist campaigns such as the Gillette ad, the #YesAllMen hashtag and the beyond insulting "Educate your son" (which has "Protect your daughter" above it crossed out; I mean really, how is this not blatant discrimination against men?). As it went on it arguably became a hate movement with how it promoted hate and fear against men and essentially gave vengeful, spiteful women a weapon to accuse any man of doing something improper to her and she's believed automatically without evidence or proof.

I'm glad to see the blowback this movement is getting, along with the equally fraudulent and corrupt Time's Up, which even got exposed not that long ago and was basically exposed as a big swindle movement. But I'm glad the outcome of the Depp case is shining a big light on the fact men and boys are also victims of violence and there's women who commit terrible acts just like men, and it's making the public reject the ridiculous "Believe all women" rhetoric and more conscious of the fact there's just as many male victims as female ones, and both equally deserve justice. Likewise, also calling for female offenders to be punished as severely as male ones. I think this movement was one of the worst things to happen to relations between both men and women in a long time, but now people are seeing through the illusion.

I really think it needs to be completely abolished and shut down, and a new movement and organization that's completely gender-neutral and equally acknowledging of both male and female abuse and sexual violence victims (as well as both male and female perpetraters of such crimes) and also employs due process to ensure nobody is abusing the services and just seeking to ruin someone's life and in the process make a quick buck. I recall the movement's founder actually acknowledged male victims and has encouraged them to come forward, which is great and I commend her for that, but unfortunately far too many dishonest people with hidden agendas and ulterior motives have hijacked and weaponized the movement and by now in it's present form it's just too far gone.

Maybe the progress flair isn't the right one but I chose it because I feel for people to finally see how corrupt and fraudulent MeToo is and how stupid and dangerous the notion of "believe all women" is and the fact much more awareness has been raised about violence against men, it feels like much-needed progress is finally being made. MeToo in the end turned out to be a bloodthirsty wolf in sheep's clothing (actually scratch that, that's insulting to wolves).
