Just to clarify, this 10% refers to the percentage of men PROVEN to be innocent. Not as its currently parroted as 90% of accusations are true. As hard as it is to prove a rape, it is even harder to prove that no rape occurred.

There’s a few things feminists are missing:

They often claim the false rate is only 2%. That’s the rate legally classified as false. There are clearly, far, far more false filings. In our legal system we often find not guilty or dismiss a case due to lack of merit. Many of these are false, but they aren’t legally classified as false, that’s not how the system works. There’s no knowing for sure what percent of allegations are false. One notable study puts it at over 40%.
That’s just legal accusations. As we see with MeToo and the Depp case, an accusation doesn’t have to be a criminal charge to be damaging. On top of that consider all the work related and college related allegations. False police reports are just the tip of the false claims iceberg. Common sense indicates the percent of false claims that are not police reports is probably notably higher. Clearly more people will make a false statement than file a false police report.

Perhaps most important, it’s not a who’s got it worse contest. The issue isn’t whether there are more sexual assaults or more false accusations. Both are wrongs we should seek to reduce. Even if sexual assaults are more common, it doesn’t follow false allegations are acceptable and of no concern. That’s incredibly flawed feminist logic. It’s like saying since more people die of heart disease, cancer is irrelevant and of no concern.

Men are murdered more than women, but you don’t see MRAs claiming that means female homicides are acceptable and of no concern. That’s exactly the type of twisted logic feminists are using with this issue however.

I truly am fine with women who fear SA, because fear is irrational. i just wish feminists recognised that basic truth when it came to the reverse. people will fear what they fear, no matter the truths behind it.

Women are fearful of walking down a street at night for fear of being raped and murdered, as you’ve said in your post false accusations make up around 10% of accusations (and those are the ones that are taken to court) while women being raped and murdered on the street by a random person at night is………<0.1% of all assaults.

So women are walking around being deathly fearful of something that would statistically never happen to them, while telling men to not worry about false claims that happen at an astronomically higher rate.

Also, while people are trying to fix the false accusation issue men are facing the people who use the murdered at night scenario are only doing so to derail conversation. Just notice that they never bring a solution to the issue (other than “fix rape”), it is 100% a derailment move.

I was falsely accused when I was in 1st grade in 1967/68!!! A woman came to our class and spoke to my teacher. I remember them looking at me. My teacher called me up to the front of the class, told me that she was ashamed of me and told me to go with the woman. I followed her to the principal’s office where there was the principal, another woman and a girl I’d never seen before. I was told that the girl said that I pulled up her skirt and pulled down her panties on the playground. I denied doing it and said that I didn’t even know the girl. I wasn’t believe (this believe all women BS isn’t a new thing) and no witnesses were brought in to corroborate her accusations. I was sent back to my classroom feeling embarrassed, ashamed and confused.

I went home and told my mother what happened. The next day my parents accompanied me to school and reamed out the principal for not having them there when the meeting was held. There were apologies made and I never heard anything else about it.

I think most women would be surprised to hear that most men would rather be raped then acused of rape because if you are raped society sees you as a joke but if your falsely acused of rape you are seen as a monster and ether way your life is ruined

In 2018 the uk government was forced to release scores of men convicted of rape after it came to light that the police and CPS were knowingly withholding evidence gained from the accusers personal devices from the defence that proved their innocence. In some cases the accuser had literally sent text messages begging the accused for sex, messaged friends going into detail and bragging about what they had done. It was pretty apparant that their was a big drive towards simply improving statistics over actually seeking any just outcome and the right result, for a short time there was a public outcry but, as always with these matters the press soon found more female victims to focus on and it was forgotten about.

To date, nobody has been held accountable for these men spending unnecessary time behind bars. Nobody resigned due to their own sheer biased perverse behaviours in the course of their duty, nobody was sacked or disciplined and nobody faced charges for the lifetimes worth of hell these men have and, probably continue to, endure.

Worse than this though, the response from feminist groups was to argue it inhumane to check the messages an accuser has sent and lobbied the government their action was swift and decisive, they made it illegal to take the information from the accusers devices in the first place.

Loophole closed - If they can't take the information, they can't withold it, but the defence team can't access it anyway and they're all back on track to continue the numbers game they were pushing regardless.

The next time anyone tells you fearing a false accusation is baseless, just remember if you're ever accused that the authorities are looking at you as nothing more than another potential notch on their convictions tally.

I don't think fear is logical and fear can be easily manipulated. They say that women are more prone to fear than men and that a lot of gender politics revolve around making women less afraid, logical or not. This has been true forever and will forever be true. We have to work around this fact.

As we MRA's have no interest in disempowering women or making them more afraid, we have nothing to worry about.

Rape and serial assault against women are abominable. False accusations are more abominable because of the vast destruction that they can cause.

While the "Me Too" movement brought to light many of the egregious things that men of wealth and power can do, it also brought out the disastrous false accusation. Reputations, careers, and family can be destroyed and when the accusation is proven false the damage is already done and cannot be repaired.

I work in an educational environment. I no longer get on an elevator if there is only one woman in it. If a female student needs additional help, I will only meet them in a school's media center where there are plenty of people around. I no longer date. The risk is too great. There is more power in a woman's false accusation than there is in a man's denial. There are many women who don't want a man in their life, and I am happy to be of service in that goal while I enjoy my peace, quiet, and solitude

Those proven innocent are not the same as those actually innocent. The statistic that the feminists love to throw around is 2% or those a little more honest will say 2-8%. By that same statistic the proven true are 10%, extrapolating on the inconclusive you get 66% true and 33% false.

False accusations are an even bigger issue than you think.

2-10% of rape allegations are false (couldn't find percent of men accused of rape

So assuming roughly 5% of men are accused of rape (again i couldn't find a statistic), you have a 0.5% chance of being accused of rape. So I have a reason to be scared of women then

I have to disagree. Not sure where you got that number from. It has to be about 50% at least, with all the crap I come across... hell just browsing /r/SupportForTheAccused will make you ditch that number easily.

The 2-11% is only how much was definitely reported as false to the poh poh, but there is a huge amount not slated as such.

I also just watched a YouTube vid that, although based in the UK, detailed how NOT rare it is for false accusations. Don't have the link, but I saved it to my NAS and it's on my Plex now.

Both fears are irrational, but it comes from an emotional place, not a rational thinking place. And for the record, I do tell women that it is unrealistic. You have to have some level of awareness that is COULD happen, but in reality you cant tell who is who- makes everyone looks scary for both men and women.

I've seen people get jumped and get permanent brain damage for allegations where the woman admits they were fake afterwards

Statistics don't mean shit, you can find a study for anything, how can you quantify what allegations are fake when most aren't disproven or proven?
