Many of you have become familiar with my work in recent months. You probably don't know why I do what I do though. I was a student at Texas A&M and faced what I now believe to be corruption in their Title IX office. Through my persistent bulldogging of the issue through the school office, federal offices, and other legal avenues with my attorney, I think I have uncovered substantial evidence of corruption. My activism has nearly cost me 10k at this point in attorney fees, and it has been worth every penny if we can get light to shine on the long dark shadow of this office.

Title IX is not a real right. It is a funding regulation. A violation is a funding issue for the government, not a real violation of rights for the victim. Unless the victim can show patterns, corruption, or other violations of constitutional rights, state schools can get off by claiming sovereign immunity. Victims can't show patterns of abuse because a lot of the internal Title IX stuff is hidden behind FERPA. The process is opaque, and there is no accountability by way of citizens reviewing how they handle things in aggregate.

I believe that the Texas A&M Title IX office is doing this to an extreme degree, and my experience with them might be able to blow the lid off of it if my voice is elevated. I have them running scared to the point where they (allegedly) started sending my emails to spam when I started asking questions to other administrators. They didn't file my complaints officially in their system, and were making changes to the programs and investigating while telling me my cases were in review, so they could remain off the books. They (allegedly) stopped sending my emails to spam once they got ahead of me in contacting them. The timing of my emails going to spam aligns with internal interested revealed by FOIA.

When they became aware I filed or might file federally, their attorney told me he wouldn't be giving me the information I was legally entitled to, like case status and who was handling them, via "informal avenues" like my email request because I engaged in this federally protected activity (not alleged, proven explicitly in his writing). They (allegedly) lied to federal investigators to stop them from looking into they handled one of my complaints, causing the investigation to be incorrectly dismissed as moot. OCR dismissed my complaint without a single reference to law as having informed their opinion after 1.5 years of review and no investigation. The dismissal was mere days after Lhamon was reappointed head of OCR. I don't want to dwell to long, as the news reporter will be covering these things in an article and video interview with me.

The reporter wants people, of any gender, to come forward about the abuse of their Title IX system and possible corruption of process they experienced like mine. I NEED YOUR HELP in getting the word out to victims so they can finally have a voice. TELL EVERYONE. If you are connected to the school, know people who are, get this info in their social feeds and tell victims to reach out in a DM to me on twitter or reddit. I have brought this issue as far as I can in my work, I am on the precipice of getting this blown open, and I need help pushing it across the finish line.

You are not alone.

Not all victims get a voice like Johnny Depp. Take for example, the court case below that arises out of the same Title IX office as my story. The case is John Doe v. Texas A&M University et al. 2020. It is case 4:20-cv-04332 on pacer if you want to get the court documents yourself. It will probably cost a dollar or two to get them all. It is not for the faint of heart, and is absolutely rage inducing. Even though I am not party to the case, I cried reading it. It happened at the same time as my issues with their office, and hit really close to home for me. Here are some excerpts of the plaintiffs complaint to the court, where it looks like his rapist actually got the school to find him responsible for her crimes:

[in first amended complaint]

Based on the amount of alcohol John consumed on that night, the investigator estimated his blood alcohol content (BAC) level to be approximately 0.232, nearly double that estimated for the Complainant (.14).

It was John’s understanding that the two complaints would be handled concurrently in the event that the parties did not pursue informal resolution. John did not learn until much later that his complaint was never formally submitted or filed and therefore would not be considered by the Hearing Officer at the final hearing.

The hearing officer failed to make any finding that Jane was incapacitated and unable to provide consent, nor was there any evidence that Jane’s alleged incapacitation was apparent to any of the ten other students with whom she was drinking both before and after the alleged sexual contact.

The investigator did not reach any determination concerning consent, as that was the responsibility of the assigned Hearing Officer.

Texas A&M unreasonably delayed investigating John Doe’s case and bringing it before the hearing officer, notwithstanding guidance from the Department of Education that universities were obligated to continue investigating disciplinary complaints and holding hearings during the COVID-19 pandemic.]

The school railroaded him entirely. The events actually sound like she was the one that raped him, then accused him of her own crime. Have a look yourself:
