The men that get shamed as in cels are a lot like the people who got shamed as rednecks, deplorables, uneducated yokels, racists, sexists and bigots in the past. They felt like society didn't care about them and voted for Trump to piss off the people that tried to make them feel bad.

With the large number of men who are sexless and treated as less than human by women because of something that they cannot change and were born with (their looks), there will be a lot more changes in democracies where these men will not care about the people who rejected them from society in the first place. Loving your neighbor only works when your neighbor loves you back. The 30-40% of young men who are lonely will become the subject of articles in the future when journalists try to understand why the world looks like it does.
