A small story comparing men and women's rights when it comes to abortion and custody. Debate about it, tell me if unrelated.

I've seen many people here or on r/antifeminists happily claiming that women are now equal to men, as they lost their reproductive rights. Here's a relatively similar example:

Two kids go to the same school.

One has rich parents and the other one can't even afford new shoes. The second one wishes they were equal.

One day, the first kid's father gets fired for unknown reasons. The family goes broke and the first kid comes in the same situation as the second.

Is it a win for the kid that was already poor? After all, they are equal now. Wanna debate?
