This sub feels useless to me. Not in a bad side though. Just read before downvoting me haha

So, I've been a member of this subreddit for a few months. And even though, just like a lot of people here (I think), I don't agree with all thought and opinion, I think we all have a common point: Extreme feminism is toxic.

I wrote "Extreme". Yes. But why? Well... I think a lot of girls and women support the Feminism movement without wondering about the... "Upgraded" version. A lot of men do as well.

And when you talk to them about men's issues...

"Dude women have it worse" "Poor guy" "Why do you hate women?"

And more.

Recently I talked with my mother and brother about legal issues: men cannot be recognised as rape victims... while they should.

My brother started laughing at me, saying "Haha he's saying bullshit" while my mother said: "Oh come on, it's hard to rape a man" and when I talked about drugs my brother started laughing even harder.

He even said "You try to defend men's rights while they are already there"

(Just proved him the opposite but okay I guess)

This kind of behaviour makes me think that it is pointless. People will never start accepting our ideas. People will keep telling that men defending their rights just need a way to hide their hatred of women.

It feels hopeless.

How are we supposed to make people understand us, accept us?
