I’m a woman who didn’t get to vote before the poll closed.

I really dislike modern western feminism, not because all feminist think exactly the same, or are the same as the loud ones on Twitter, but because they stay quiet when the loud ones push their crazy ideas.

However, I do believe that there are people even in this sub who aren’t shitting on feminism but on women as a whole. It’s ironic, because it is one of the things we all hate about feminism-the generalization of men. Yet, some people here act just like them.

I am a woman here. I definitely don't go as far as most people on this sub, as if feels like most actively hate women, but I don't agree with modern day feminism so I'm here.

I am a woman who greatly believes in gender roles and the value men and women as men and women bring to a family unit, to a community, and to society.

I know a lot of men here view "tradwives" still as women leeching off men, so I don't claim to align with the views of men here, but I at least think that men get more out of the equation in a situation where women are also providing for men, rather than the whole feminist-equality-but-actually-better thing.

I also do have several advantages to my life because of feminism. I have a career and make more than my SO, so I will be the one supporting us financially (he supports us in so many ways this honestly seems more fair anyway). I rock climb and am generally an outdoorsy girl, which I feel would not be possible without feminism. I am on birth control. So I guess in some ways I'm not anti-feminist and do benefit from it.

But, after women got the right to vote and equal opportunity in the workplace, I feel like at this point feminism is going off the rails and pushing too far. I also think men in general are being completely ignored or worse, and at this point I feel like advocating for men's rights is much more important and fair than these fringe women's rights.

All in all, whether that means I should be here or not is up to the masses to decide, but I thought I'd share my view on why I, a woman, am here.

I am a woman who subscribes to both feminism and anti feminism subs just to see the whole perspective, but don’t particularly agree with all the shit I see on either subs.

This sub is a very bad way to find out how many women support men. There are definitely men here who just want their rights taken seriously, but there are also allot who also just dislike women. Take a look around outside this sub, and you’ll find women who are against radical feminism (if not against feminism as a whole) everywhere. Speaking from experience here. I refuse to follow people on social media if I know they’re a radfem, so I know how many aren’t because I follow them.

Not much, given that this position is less mainstream than feminism, and also has more defamation done against it. Not at the level of other positions, but at least leans more into that direction.
