If you get married, expect divorce in 10 years, but you should marry for money - to paraphrase. Very strange, since I'd say a vast majority of men wouldn't consider marriage a financial positive, although, it can be for women. Men gotta pay alimony, child benefits that are alongside "to support mother's lifestyle", the wedding itself, the ring etc. That's a lot of assets and passive income from a divorce.

Marriage is also more of the bride's day than it is the groom's day. Everything revolves around the bride. She is the only one to wear a white dress, while you dress in a suit just like every other guy there. You look at wedding photos and the camera is either on you and her together, or only her. It's her big day, not yours. In every movie it's always been her. Everyone gasps when she walks in. All the attraction is on her. She is the princess of the day, you're the lucky guy. I could go on.

She gets to organize the wedding, you pay for it, she chooses the honeymoon, you pay for it, she cheats on you with Rob from accounting, you pay for it.

Everyone lives their lives differently, some times people fall out of love, other times troubling times come around the corner, other times marriage ending mistakes happen, but it's absurd that it's always the men that have to lick the muddy soles of the boot every time.
