Feminists want to convince women to reject their feminine role by rejecting beauty and embracing power, instead of finding a powerful man to embrace. It's a corruption of the natural male/female dynamic.

I've had a few thoughts on this matter for a while. For whatever they are worth.

Being feminine is not in any way "weak." It is in fact extremely strong. What a lot of women have failed to see in the last 20-30 years is that being feminine is a more subtle strength than being masculine. Take a look at almost any female film character before 1965. They get their way, they win, they are strong...but not by pouncing forward like a tank. By being smarter & more subtle.

When women, especially female character in films & TV, go around acting as if they can do anything a man can do, only better, and acting as if they don't need any man to do anything - they only come across as assholes with curves. And the thing is, men have (or had) ways of dealing with assholes. It was swift and a bit violent and everyone had a beer together afterward. When a woman is an asshole, we men still have a thousand years of chivalry burned into us, so we're not going to ever do that to a woman, no matter how much she's acting like an asshole. And so, there are no repercussions. Those particular women learn that they can be the biggest asshole they want, and no one will do anything about it. A man will (or should) eventually learn his place from some other guys well intentioned fist. And a beer.

Of course, some men can be charming assholes - we all have that one friend who gets away with it. But women can never seem to manage that. By and large, when they go "feminist" they go full asshole. And it's ugly.

If feminism truly wanted equality between the sexes, then we men could do away with any form of chivalry. Maybe that is a outdated cultural practice. If it is, then slapping any asshole when they are as asshole - regardless of body parts - would be 100% OK. Is this what feminists want?

Or, have they just lost out on the true source of feminine power? It's there, they've just forgotten about it.

Feminism teaches women to try and emulate (sometimes unhealthy) masculine traits.

Feminism teaches women to betray their own feminine nature.

No. As a woman, i've experienced and seen that most of the women most admired by men are working women who are ambitious, know what they want and go and get it. They're also seen as sexy by men, beeped at, whistled at, hit on etc. A feminine woman Is a woman who is capable and strong, like a Wonder Woman, work, help take care of her kids, able to do all the things you think a traditional woman may do and also work. Hence you see single mothers and women whos husbands have passed away doing everything.

Real women should be strong, thats femininity, like a lioness, not sitting at home leaving her husband to soley deal with the stresses of life/ work. Your perception of a female is likely flawed. Women are not here to dote on men- I knew a woman who was so pretty, ran 3 businesses single handedly, raised her kids, cooked and cleaned daily, while her husband sat around and did nothing. Only a fool would dote on her husband and not work or at least have a plan b, her husband could be a waster like the above man, could be physically abusive, a psychopath, a criminal, emotionally abusive etc. No woman should live to dote on a man, they should compliment each other and be a team, not one reigning over the other.

There are plenty of ambitious women who were feminine, look at Marylin Monroe, arguably the most successful actress and celebrity, and most famously feminine woman of her time, coveted by most men, but ambitious and super successful, more so than many men.

Women have also made huge contributions to the worlds advancement in technology, space, charity/ humanitarian efforts and other areas. If everyone listened to you, we wouldn't have certain luxuries and facilities we have today and many would still be going hungry in the world.

Feminism at the start (or at least “2nd wave”) was about eliminating differences between men and women. Femininity was (is) seen as weakness and a social construct. Of course the ridiculousness of the arguments fall apart on most levels. There are a few (very few) feminists that argue women should be at the front lines and be eligible for the draft. But there are so many contradictions eventually.

From my understanding of feminism there are groups known as waves so wave 1 wave 2 etc. As the waves progress there more aggressive and violent it gets. Wave 1 is about equality and under standing where as wave 3 is screw men, men bad, all men need to be circumcisedetc. Wave 3 are basically extremists/ Karen's who don't understand that just cuz something bad happens doesn't mean everyone's to blame. But yes feminism gets more masculine as the waves go on its like the feminists version of animal farm if anyone's read that book.

Feminism (if we're going by the establishment feminist movement) isn't anti-feminine. Rather, it is a case of toxic femininity.

The problem with feminism is NOT that it "masculinizes" women. Feminism doesn't masculinize women at all, it encourages women to embrace Toxic Femininity as a form of personal empowerment.

Feminism claims to reject traditional roles, but at its very core it depends on many aspects of these roles and reinforces them.

Yeah, that’s not really what it’s about. Wave one, or OG feminism, was strictly about equality and addressing the feminine perspective, which I completely agreed with. Wave 2 was a movement relating to that. And then wave 3 made feminism far worse. It’s not about equality or showing that women can be strong, but instead about full superiority and control. They go on about “toppling the patriarchy”, but what then? Most of our societal norms have to be taken down gradually or over time so there won’t be complete chaos. The patriarchy has been around since the dawn of our species, there’s simply no way that we’re replacing that any time soon. Hell, it took hundreds of years for slavery in the United States to go away, and it’s still present around the world. I don’t agree with the matriarchy either, but instead, it should be based on who is fit to lead, woman or man. Some women are highly intelligent, some not so much. The same goes for men. We shouldn’t move to replace or abolish the patriarchy in favor of a matriarchy, we should have equal say in all decisions, that way, it’s much easier. But based on third wave feminism, that isn’t going to happen. I tend to disagree with modern feminists all the time just because I agree with first and second wave but not third wave. Almost no one respects each other’s opinions anymore. The last time I experienced that was two weeks ago in a YouTube comments section with a woman who was pro-life, while I was pro-choice. She was the only person that didn’t openly attack me for my views, but instead, shut those people down, and showed some respect.

Feminism once showed that feminine qualities can be very strong and desirable. But it’s not like that anymore. They completely drown out men while preaching that they welcome differing opinions. They use terms like “incel” and “mysogynist” when describing teens that have fallen victim to Andrew Tate’s influence or social media. They don’t view them as victims, rather, enemies. I honestly feel bad for people like that, being indoctrinated by someone to hold an opinion that they themselves do not fully understand. I actually agree with what Andrew Tate addresses at times, exposing women and feminists, but their defense is to call it mysoginistic rather than acknowledging it.

Their opinions are still a mess and very contradictory.

I have a couple teachers in my high school that completely agree with the first two waves, but don’t like where the third wave is headed. And those two teachers are probably the best (by far) in debates. They’ve been arguing about feminism for four years now.

I think you are confusing feminist with femanin. Feminist want equality for men and women and are quit against the standards that are assigned to genders. Femanin is someone who has qualities we as humans asign to the gender of female. Feminists are very against that. I think all they are saying is "in the past men hunted (litterarly) for survival and women raised the young and took care of the hut but now we don't hunt for survival any more so we both have to take the equal responsibility for the child and the money making by working. which is today's version of hunting but strength and stamina are not that valuable any more so we can both do either responsibility.

I think you just mistakenly didn't know the difference between someone being a feminist and being femanin lol
