It's going to get to the point where men quit interacting with women.

[–]NutsLikeMelons 88 points89 points90 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The illogical thing here is that driving men away results in a bunch of guys who work, live alone, have hobbies and will use prostitutes when they want to. They will force men to see women as a product to purchase, not social equals. Compared to this madness though... it’s better for men. Cheaper too. Wife and kids costs a fortune. PlayStation and a hooker? Cheap as chips.

[–]Educational_Prune_45 34 points35 points36 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

As fucked up as your point at the end may seem, you are correct.

It’s like when you realise the terminator is the best choice to be the step father.

[–]Pz5 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The schools should be called out on their sexism. Men should not be afraid of these gender bigots.

[–]TFME1 26 points27 points28 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Going to? Many men are already there.

[–]mixing_saws 18 points19 points20 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yup. I have some female friends with male interests but thats about it. I consider them one of the bros though. Every woman outside of my direct social circle feels more like an dangerous object thanks to todays feminism.

[–]StrangerThingies -2 points-1 points0 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So you already consider women objects and not people?

[–]Early-Department-234 34 points35 points36 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

It's considered discrimination and "not a team player" here in Toronto. You can be accused of being a potential threat to the workplace if a female staff goes to HR and alleges that the man is doing MGTOWy or incelly things. Happened to the Conservative Leader Pierre Milhouse Poilievre for his YouTube tags.

[–]mixing_saws 8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Good thing im not a canadian citizen. The madness is real over there.

[–]Early-Department-234 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Canada is feminist to the core.

[–]NarutoBoy87 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

People avoid getting stabbed too, hows avoiding something discrimination?

[–]BrokeMacMountain[S] 48 points49 points50 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

if we ever do, then women will still be the victims, and men will onyl do it because of misogyny. /s

nut it terrifies me, that boys, and even girls are being force fed this nonsense of "only girls are victims and only boys are abusers". or that only boys should respect girls, and not the other way around.

When i was young we were told to treat others as we would have them treat ourselves. And if we have nothing nice to say, then to say nothing at all. I still believe that in order to have a healthy, functioning equal society that is just and fair, that we must teach children to treat everyone fairly, and not just a select group.

Sadly, that does not appear to be happening.

[–]mixing_saws 18 points19 points20 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Feminism is a supremacy movement and NOT an equality movement.

[–]contrarion_maybe_ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Already there! ..to be honest I cba to interact with anyone outside of my circle anymore, everyone is offended and believes being so gives them clout or victory in an argument, everyone seems to have a huge chip on their shoulder nowadays, not worth the hassle. You could politely approach a lady now, try to strike up a conversation, give her eye contact and be labelled a “rapist” or “sexual harasser” ending your social life/ career and the crazy thing is .. that’s not even an exaggeration. It actually kind of depresses me as I really wanted a family etc.

[–]youtube_station 99 points100 points101 points 3 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Ironically, this very program is sexist. It entirely blames sexism on males, while refusing to acknowledge male victims of domestic violence. It's not just insulting, it's dangerous.

[–]Greg_W_Allan 31 points32 points33 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The UK classifies male victims of domestic and sexual abuse as "victims of violence against women".

[–]BrokeMacMountain[S] 16 points17 points18 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

thats is a very good point that i had forgotten about.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I’m curious what you mean by that. Do you have a link?

[–]BrokeMacMountain[S] 31 points32 points33 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

That was also one of my first thoughts. This entire campaign, including a further one funded by the uk gov (https://enough.campaign.gov.uk/help-stop-it) is entirely one sided and spreads the false narative that only men are abusers and only women are victims. It is being lead by the "violence agasint women and girls" group.

[–]youtube_station 23 points24 points25 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

There website even has this on it:

It can happen to anyone: an adult or a child, female or male.

Khan is going out of his way to exclude boys. Why is this position seen as progressive?

[–]BrokeMacMountain[S] 17 points18 points19 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

i wish i knew. I am deeply dismayed at the attitude shown by some towards men, and boys. This far reaching hatred is infecting every aspect of our society now, and is having a chilling effect on how we think and interact with each other. The limitations being placed on boys and men is wrong, and will be far worse than the limitations placed on women and girls in years past.

i would prefer a campaign that was balanced, fIr honest and equal. This is none of those things. We should try to end violence agasint everyone, not just females. This sexist, feminist, misandry is teaching children that only boys are abusers, and only girls are victims. It teaches girls to fear all boys, and men. It lets the boys know that only women and girls are protected. I would feel better of feminism went the way of the dodo.

[–]okgroomerang 22 points23 points24 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Like bernie mac said: you want me to respect you than it's your job to give me something to respect. Maybe they need to respect themselves first and have respect for their fellow sisters since the worst "misogyny" i've ever seen has been women directing it at other women.

[+]StrangerThingies -8 points-7 points-6 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

By what metric is that true? Certainly not by murder rates.

[–]okgroomerang 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

What does the homicide rate have to do with this?

[+]StrangerThingies -6 points-5 points-4 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

As a way to determine who is perpetuating misogyny. Does anyone have any evidence suggesting women are the worst misogynist?

[–]BrokeMacMountain[S] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

that would be misandrist, not misogynist.

[+]StrangerThingies -3 points-2 points-1 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Women hating women is misandry? Asking in good faith here, I’m confused.

[–]BrokeMacMountain[S] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, women hating other women is certainly not considered misogyny. Thats generally reserved for men. While misandry is generally reserved for women hating men, i think it should should apply to any woman hating anyone else.

[–]equalRights111 18 points19 points20 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

At the very least they should also train girls to recognise sexist behaviour towards men and boys. Why wouldn’t you?

[–]Potomacker 6 points7 points8 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But such admission of reality goes against the feminist paradigm

[–]ForgotOldAcc-_- 6 points7 points8 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]JJnanajuana 13 points14 points15 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Thankfully teens aren't stupid, and they are keen observers of hypocracy. Especially when being force-fed.

I think they'll pick up on the sexism inherit in their anti-sexism class.

[–]BrokeMacMountain[S] 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

we can only hope. Although having seen the attitude of of many women in their late teens / early twenties i fear this will only enhance their hatred and fear of men.

[–]BrokeMacMountain[S] 36 points37 points38 points 3 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

School kids in London will be trained to recognise sexism and misogyny. They will be taught (forced) to use the 'prevention against women and girls' toolkit.

Teachers will be coupled with people from the domestic abuse charity, tender (more biased misandry) will highlight misogyny and ...

... encourage young people, including boys...

well, nice of them recognise boys are people.

This part of £100 million fund at ending violence agasint women and girls. not men and boys. and not women being violent agasint other women. nope, once again only men are the abusers, and only women are the victims and biys are being told its all their fault. And it bugs the fuck out of me! i am seriously sick to death of this growing misandry and was left r reading this.

Show me where it says violence is okay at all in the comment you replied to? Now show me where it says that women are given preferential treatment and are the assumed victims and that men are the assumed perpetrators of said violence. Bet you could find that second one.

Now kindly go stir crap up somewhere else.

So by your logic, in a completely different part of the world, it would be ok if a program aimed at women and girls was teaching how to prevent misandry and abuse against men, and only men. And have millions of dollars of governmental funding in schools across the region. That'd be ok?

[–]Fast-Mongoose-4989 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This program is sexist and anti male and techies boys that only males can be abusers and can never be victims.

[–]Starmind0 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It quite literally is. Always is, always been, and always will be until misandrists like you acknowledge male victims and female perpetrators.

"Obviously" Lmao the law still says women can't rape men and men can't be victims, and you're still defending misandry that attacks male victims. So elaborate hon, how is it obvious? Especially when you're ignorant yourself and believe men can't be victims.

[–]BrokeMacMountain[S] 10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

This is the third time you have commented on this. Clearly you either dont understand the issue, or your are a feminist. Either way, you are wrong. I have no problem with preventing violence. I DO take issue with the sexist narative that only women and birls should be protected, and not men and boys. I take issue with teaching children that only males are abusers, and only females are victims. Men and boys beed protecting too, from women, from girls, from misandry.

There only trying to prevent violence against women and girls while demonizing boys and men and encouraging misandry.

This is why I have given up on dating for the foreseeable future.

[–]Mista_Brassmann34 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Exactly, and then there will be women crying abt why they don't seem to get a Bf or any male attention towards them at all. I also have quit dating and i'm trying so hard to get my mind off it cause it's just not worth anymore. But seeing things like this or seeing another feminist rage and act obnoxious, those moments kinda make me feel happy single.

[–]_BlueShark87 19 points20 points21 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Aspiengineer 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]griii2 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't forget that all and men and boys are explicitly blamed for the violence!

This is now documented in r/SystemicSexism

https://np.reddit.com/r/SystemicSexism/comments/yqlohd/pupils\_in\_london\_to\_be\_trained\_to\_recognise/

[–]azazelcrowley 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This sounds like the kind of shit I would do and then fail every student who didnt call me out.

[–]okgroomerang 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The majority of victims are still overwhelmingly men. If anything misandry is a problem not misogyny.

[–]tablueraspberry 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You should hear the ads they play on the radio. One radio station plays multiple "protect women and girls" throughout the day. I even said to my colleague, "surely violence against everyone should prioritized" and she laughed. 😭

[–]MrStone1 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Boys and girls shouldn't be educated together, They should be in separate schools with teachers of the same sex teaching them.

[–]BrokeMacMountain[S] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

you may be right,, and i suspect that will happen. However it wont stip kids being told to fear men, and that all males are dangerous, and all females are kind, considerate harmless wallflowers.

[–]MrStone1 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Well the goal of separating boys and girls in school should be to educate them to a far higher standard than they are now.

If i could set up schooling with the best interests of the children school staffing levels would be operating on a 80/20 principal, ie - Boys schools would have 20% of the staff female, Who occupy certain authority positions and are older women.

Girls schools would have 80% female and 20% male, With the men being older and occupying authority positions.

And it would be wise for children to be wary of men, If boys were taught about their own nature and to manage it correctly they should have the ability to be dangerous directed towards things that are competitive, Difficult and fun.

[–]Practical_Risk_660 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

But wouldn’t that make girls think men belong in authority positions and make boys think women belong in authority positions

[–]MrStone1 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They are not going to educated in ignorance of the other sex, It's more about creating distance between the authority figures and the children, Both boys and girls will grow up with a more balanced view of the world.

Kids are pretty clever when it comes to figuring out who is a competent authority figure and who isn't, Who has earned the right to be there and who is there as a box ticking exercise.

Honey, if you ignore the majority of victims in a case, you're wrong and discriminatory regardless of your "nice acts" to help the people you selected to help. That's like talking about slavery of white people while ignoring the immense and embedded culture of slavery of black people, and your argument here is nothing short of "ugh do you hate white people or something? We're helping them".

Flock off to worshipping women somewhere else. Men and boys are victims of discrimination by gender and victims of domestic abuse.

Are you really this daft? You're in a men's rights sub saying how are we making everything about us? Everyone here is simply asking that attention is given equally to men. Not a single person is ignoring women's issues.

They are ignoring half the victims of "sexist behavior" but in your fucked up world, men can't be victims of sexism. You need to wake up. None of this is that difficult to understand but you seem to struggle with it immensely for some reason. You've been brainwashed by modern feminism

[+][deleted] 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

[permanently deleted]

[–]Riptionator 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

You can't say that misandry is not as impactful as misogyny. People say men are worthless ALL THE TIME. You're already trivializing how men are treated in your very response. And no one is complaining that people are helping women. They are just asking for equality and instead you are making up a bunch of things that no one said or are simply not true. Again, you're brainwashed and no amount of talking to you is going to change the lies you believe.

We want there to be a balance discussion not a only men can be abuser discussion that is happing.

This help for women is going to completely alienate and dehumaniz male victims of domestic abuse.

[–]NibblyPig 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Young lads blowing their brains out at an alarming rate might be one such example that society is geared to offer no support network for men while it continues to demonise them in many ways including the manner in this thread.

[–]Starmind0 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Ignoring half the victims because they're not mentioning them, acknowledging them, or teaching about them and their rights, respect, and support.

Love how you say "do you have to make everything about you always" when that's exactly what is done about women. Making it all about women while men are factually and historically ignored. Sit down and quit making new accounts to speak your misandry. Scared much?

[–]Starmind0 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You're completely right, except with the genders flipped❤ Violence against women is violence, but violence against men is violence against men. Historically, culutrally, and traditionally, men are the ones who are constantly abused because they're men; because of their gender that they can take it.

Take your own advice babe. Your delusion isn't the truth. I know men who were abused while being told they can take it as men. Some said they deserve it because they're men. Some straight up say "it's ok" to do it because they're men. I can't recall one person on earth that hits women because of them being women lmao. In fact, everyone is strictly taught to "never hit a woman" even if the woman is abusive and lays her hands on a man. Even if it's a female rapist, the kind you defend. Talking out of your ass is not a good look❤

[–]Riptionator 14 points15 points16 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Men want to be taken as seriously as women in these cases. That's equality, which is something that feminists say they want but in reality they only want to win one over on men. To get attention at the expense of men. To have rights FAVOR them.

Nowhere did the OP say he didn't care about violence or sexual misconduct against women.

You're part of the problem and doing the very thing I mentioned above. How do YOU sleep at night not supporting equality between the sexes? How do YOU sleep at night basically saying that discrimination against men is irrelevant?

They are not being targeted due to their gender.

That's the most ignorant comment I've seen in several years.

No. You explain your assertion first.

When I was raped as a seven and eight year old it was legal because a woman did it. You would have stood guard at the door.

Imagine attacking a male victim of rape by a woman that's also a pedophile. Says a lot about you❤

As crazy as you claiming this is attacking women. Bark against men some more. You're definitely the type to defend a female rapist.

You literally claimed this is attacking programs that prevent violence against women. Do everyone here a favor and defend female rapists somewhere else.

No one here has, except you. I don't care if you do it because of your disgusting script or because you're horny, but defending female rapists and pedophiles, on top of being a misandrist, is enough for me to drop all respect within a discussion. From now on, enjoy your new title as the piggy❤

sorry that happened to you

Insincere nothingness.

When folk ask that male victims be treated fairly and equally there is always you arriving to shut them down.

You are as described.

and,, what exactly us being done to prevent violence against men, or misandry? hmm? no, no answer to that? Also, a lot of women, lesbians espesially commit violence against other women. Yet there is no mention of this in the literature. This entire campaign is toxic misandrist bigotry.

The whole point of them is "healthy relationships and equality"

So how is any of what they want to do equality?

Focusing only on one part of victim and perpetrator has nothing to do with equality.

Ensuring that every school has resources for violence against women etc. etc.. is good.

But why should boys know about resources for women? Is it because there are practically no resources for them? So they don't start to wonder why there none for them and start to question them?
