These things are all on a continuum, and the demographics you are playing to also changes the game. Women do care more about looks than ever. Some of this is just revealed behavior--they always cared, but couldn't weight looks that much. Some of this may be artificially inflated by today's culture.

Demographics matter. Some groups of women care more about looks than others. In some female demographics, looks have taken on a status element, so are almost double counted. But in other female groups, looks matter less.

Yes. They still do matter.

You can have the looks of a Greek god but be poor and mentally deranged and you won’t slay as much women. You’ll get more women if increase the other attributes such as confidence money and personality.

Not only that but the big thing is women are more likely to stay and want you more.

So yes. They do matter. Looks can arguably be the most important but having looks alone with 0 talking skills and making 5k a year will deter you so much.

Honestly those guys probably just around putting themselves in a position to meet women. If you work in a field that's 95% male dominated and then go home and play video games... you just aren't going to meet a lot of women.

I think it depends on what you mean by bad luck in dating.

I think modern dating is something of a challenge for everyone, of every type, because it's so hard to build authentic connections in a digital world. We are bombarded by so much information, which i think has warped our beauty standards in ways which impacts sexuality.

For the average man, I do think this means there will be struggles with dating as everyone is, but there are lots and lots of perfectly average, and below average, guys in happy relationships.

So I don't think the issue is the beauty standards, although I do agree that male beauty standards are very narrow. I think it's about the inability to connect and get to the stage where you can move forward with someone.

Yeah, looks matter. I've been doing tremendously better with girls since my weightloss and lifting. However, I am not six feet, nor do I have the body of a "Greek God."

There are legit tons of guys doing fine with girls without these qualities, and they do not require shin-lengthening or facial reconstruction to accomplish it. Smh.

I know a short guy ( he's 5'3) he works a service industry job, so he's not rich. He's slightly above average in looks, but in a college town with thousands of young men. He'd easily be lost in the crowd, his physical appearance blends in with everyone else.

However, this guy's pulls all the time. Women love him, he's never single for more than a couple months, and his girlfriends are always very attractive women that are taller than him. He's massive amounts of personality, and is very confident.
