It seems like most people have bought into the idea completely that there are no temperamental differences between men and women and that they are literally ALL a product of culture. This blows my mind because any honest person who thinks for themselves can see that this is untrue. This is a huge problem when everybody is sharing their subjective experiences because often times women will interpret things as so much worse than they are and men as so much milder than women. For example, a woman will make a post here saying "dating is just as bad for women as it is men" or something of the like. Looking at this objectively you can easily tell its not true. So how does she believe it? It's because she has a neurotic emotional temperament and suffers as much as a man does because of it. She compared the severity of the emotions she experienced to things men have complained about and made the assumption that it must be equally bad. For example, a woman getting used for sex once by a guy may be equivalent to a man being rejected 20 times in the amount of negative emotion they experience. Men can bear much more suffering than women because we are much less neurotic, and something we would perceive as minor can happen to a woman and she will experience a ton of negative emotions from it, which makes the amount of suffering she experiences closer or the same as a man who suffered much worse circumstances. So technically, she is correct in a way but the sum of negative experiences is objectively much less.

I mostly don't understand how you can fail to take this into consideration when you think to share an experience though. Maybe it was you over or under reacting to something, and the situation may have not been so bad or may have been worse than how you interpreted it.
