6 months ago my wife brought up a divorce, we had gone through hard times, mentally, emotionally, and physically. I had a period of mental illness due to hormone issues and trauma. I was admittedly unpleasant to be around, I tried to be good towards my loved ones (was never physically or sexually abusive to my wife and remained faithful) but I was falling apart and was snappy or neurotic often. After a couple years I got on TRT and have been in therapy since our first conversation about divorce. I've gotten better and have become a better husband, son, and friend. Last night she told me she is divorcing me, I knew something was wrong, she only agreed to one marriage counseling session before submitting a non compete. We have no real assets, she doesn't want anything from me. I have no real career after supporting our home while she went through college, I've gained weight, I feel lost. I thought things were getting better, clearly I was mistaken. I don't want this, I want her in my life, the hard thing is she doesn't want to be a part of my life anymore. I'm hoping we can make this work, it seems like she is already gone. I just needed to write it all out I guess, thanks lads.
