Unfortunately my last post was removed because I was asking for advice, therefore I'm reframing the question so it's appropriate. This isn't me asking for advice, but rather feeling weird about a situation and listening/discussing with other people to hash out my thoughts.

It seems there's a general consensus amongst men that dating a younger woman (18-25) is something to be proud of, while from my talk with women it is something shameful. From my personal experience I have a cognitive dissonance with the situation and I think it has to do with having younger sisters (3/4 of my sister's are younger than the woman). Again, this isn't me asking for advice but rather your opinions on the matter.
