Little bit of backstory... this was from the description on one of the knives:

Good on them. Even as a little kid, I remember learning about prostate cancer and thinking it odd that there was so much...awareness about breast cancer, yet almost no discernible concern about the number one killing cancer of men.

In all fairness, if money was enough to cure cancer, that shit would be cured by now.

I know that this is an unpopular opinion, but it is also the right one. Maybe we should spread a little of that money around to other diseases that maybe we could cure if we put a little effort into it?

I have lost people I loved to cancer, but I feel that this is largely a money sink -- and money is a finite resource. I would feel differently if I thought another million or ten million or a hundred million would make a real difference, but it won't. We're all just playing make-believe when we pretend that it will. So much money is being spent on the research already that very little that gets collected even goes toward research. The rest is thieved away by grifters and charlatans. And it wouldn't even make a difference if it wasn't.

That goes unsaid far too often.

Huge store. I've passed it many times but never gone inside. I don't think that a cancer men get needs to "compete" for ad space during the month designated for breast cancer awareness for women (yes, I'm aware that a very small percent of men experience it too), but it's still good to see this.

That Teal Small Lady Leg is really cool! And fuck yes, Ovarian Cancer! Err, I meant, yay for awareness of that, since it's way less known about but still super deadly to women and harder to detect than breast cancer, which is one of the more treatable cancers.

And obviously the same goes for prostate cancer, which I see about as often as I see ovarian cancer "awareness," which is to say, never.
