To me, it seems being expected to pay for a date by default is saying that women do men a favor by sitting at a table with them for a couple of hours

Have some dignity and self-respect, have the attitude you're doing her a favor by dating. I guarantee you'll also have much better results.

All that said, if you really enjoyed an evening and company there's nothing wrong with paying for everything if that's what you want.

I'm sorry, but if they can't see the inherent absurdity and entitlement to what they're asking, then they aren't worth talking to. Most women I know have come round to the idea that men shouldn't have to pay for them. All it usually takes is "what would you say if I demanded you pay for me?", and they can typically see how absurd it is.

However there still remains a large of amount of special little princesses who want a man to pay for them and to do everything for them.

Fuck them, seriously. They're not worth it anyway.

Women are my equal when they get their wallet out and prove it. An expectation that men should pay = you're not my equal. I'm OK with it but that and love women but it's a fact.

First few dates it makes sense to split the bill. After that once you are in some kind of relationship taking each other out is pretty nice. I take her somewhere special, the next time she does the same.

As for women, they’re conflicted. Fifty-seven percent of them said they have offered to chip in, even on a first date. But 39 percent said they hoped men would refuse to accept their offer.

So if I'm reading this right 82% don't really want to split things fairly (either they offer but don't mean it or don't offer, 39 + 53 = 82%).

I wonder how many of that 82% identify as feminists . . .

I pay for movies no questions asked. Why? Because I buy movie coupons for 7.50 when tickets are 12 and they come in pairs so I always have 2 for the most part.

I'll pay for a sit down dinner the first three dates. If she hasn't offered at least once to pay for the meal than I'm out.

I bartended for years and i can directly attest to this. Once in a while I would present the tab to a woman in a couple just as a test and you would not believe the vile looks I would get. It was an absolute expectation that the man would pay. Once in a while I would get a woman who would pay but even then id say half of them would give their partner shit about having to pay. My favorite though would be the woman who would guilt their SO into paying for her and her friends, even if the guy was not comfortable with it. It really seems like putting them in that situation was fucked up on every level.
Why would you want someone to pay for you if you are a grown adult?
Why would you want your SO to do something they are not comfortable with?
How could you be with someone like this?

Covered in more detail. I love women but I love my freedom and won't give it up. Yes, my life is good and I'm so glad I required a Prenuptial Agreement. It saved me financially and personally.

I treat hot women dismissively and they love it and come back for more. Most guys here are lucky to ever get laid and they're busier bitching and complaining rather than planning their life for success.
