I fixed it:

"When men don't step up" -They remain completely safe from false allegations. Their reputation is protected. Nobody suspects anything negative by choosing to mentor a female.

"When men step up" They risk criminal charges that would put them away for significant periods of time, they risk losing everything they've ever worked for with a civil suit, and they could lose their career, reputation, and well, pretty much everything. All you need to do is piss off the wrong female right now.

Or, you could bring in a male with less sick time, longer hours, and higher productivity.

From your first day it's a competition to prove you're the person to promote, and you stop advancing when you stop trying to advance or have reached the limit of your ability.

These people think that the proper course for a career is to get hired and immediatly have your boss (the person whose time you're there to free up, not consume) will waste his valuable time showing you favoritism so that you can speed right up the ladder.

No fucking way. I bring a "witness" co-worker into every meeting where I have a female subordinate present... and the doors are never closed. I just down-checked a female colleague going with me to a conference. She's accompanied me before, but it's just too risky to do again. Women have made their bed, it's time for them to lie in it.
