I mean, if a woman tells somebody that they're raped, they'll most likely get sympathy and I'll probably act like I believe them and tell them to go to the police, like I'd do for a male victim, and they can also get their rapist in jail or even ruin his life if they'd like to.

But, if a man tells somebody that they'll raped, they get laughed at, or their rapist will falsely accuse them of rape, or they'll get mocked, and I'm going to believe them because there isn't really an incentive for a man to lie about rape, unless they're a masochist, or they're completely lost in revenge.

Is this an example of "Internalized Misogyny" or is it me comparing benefits and choosing to believe the one who benefits the least from telling about rape than the one who benefits the most from telling about rape?!
