I remember some Reddit thread where a woman actually asked why her boyfriend is so insecure about his height, then goes on a tirade how much of a fraud he is for wearing lift shoes etc.

Yeah, I really fucking wonder why he is so insecure about his height. Could it be that women are extremely ruthless about that and other arbitrary, entirely genetic aspects of men?

I could go on, bottom line is we have a lot of mentality issues and empathic blind spots to work out of the entire human race. Some will blame toxic masculinity, but to get to the root we must destroy gynocentrism.

More and more these days our culture has been absolutely obsessed with women. If women are unhappy for any particular reason ( which invariably happens very, very often) they get news articles written about them how ‘society’ doesn’t do enough to cater to women and needs to change. Man is unhappy? So what, deal with it, you’re privileged, other people have it worse. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve expressed something bad thay’s happened to me and people ‘one-up’ me with a worse tragedy. One time I was out with friends and shared that my dad passed away two years ago. My friend says ‘Yeah we’ll both my parents died when I was kids so I think i have it worse haha’. Okay? We weren’t talking about you and that doesn’t nullify my tragedy. It really is sad how unempathetic people are. At least in the past when women expected a man to be strong they respected him and let him be the leader of the house and home in exchange. Now we need to cater to their every whim while expecting exactly nothing in return. Not a good deal if you ask me.

I saw very similar articles and if you click the links then you’ll find similar things as well. In fact, quora was saying similar things about men as well. Encourage them etc etc. The algorithms also take into account clicks, specific terms, popularity of websites, etc and honestly nobody except the engineers really know how stuff is being ranked. Yea women are a part of this too but we can directly contribute by recognizing it's time for us men to stop playing our part in this perspective. Everyone knows that braggadocio bull shit we deal with in groups. I've dealt with it for years on construction sites. It takes a lot of courage to have everyone gang up on you cause you don't think being cruel is masculine. Sometimes I had that courage. Sometimes I didn't. The pressure is real.

Look society doesn't care about men because historically it wasn't useful to care about men, one man can get 100 women preggo while a woman can only be breed by 1 guy at a time. The uterus is our bottleneck as a species, the penis is maximum throughput.
