Okay, so at the moment my stbx and I have a somewhat cordial relationship.. I put up with communicating with her simply because of my three kids (their primarily with me)..

She has some mental issues, BP2, anxiety, depression, and during the divorce which she kicked off went into a big mania swing.. Lots of Fd up stuff happened.. Any case I've been way past done.. The lawyers, her and covid have dragged this out for almost 4+ years.

So any case basically in the past year and a half.. She's been saying your a great dad.. I miss you.. Which I've been like that's nice I appreciate it, I'm done. You and me not happening repeatedly like every other week minimally.. I'll get random texts.. and other stuff.. I've moved on, and emotionally it's draining.. I dread getting any texts from her.

I'll get random stuff like this.. and besides annoying.. It emotionally stresses me, she's the mother of my kids. But I dealt with tons of manipulation, gaslighting, and in general it wasn't a husband + wife relationship. She dealt with me as, if I was someone to pay for things and to do whatever she wanted me to. If I had ideas/opinions/perspective they didn't matter.. It wasn't so much a marriage as her primarily using me to get what she thought she needed.. Constant put downs etc.. Emotionally and health wise, hell financially I'm 1000x better.

Still I don't need this as a constant thing.. Especially since I have to continue to deal with her with the kids.. I've told her in the past unless it has to do with the kids I don't want to know.. Don't talk to me.. But as with anything she doesn't want to hear, she doesn't follow..

I half feel like I need a restraining order.. But I'm sure this doesn't qualify as that.. I'd love to basically block her #, but last thing I need is some major issue when she has the kids.. And they can't get ahold of me..
Update: FYI thanks for anyone.. I doubted I could get a restraining order.. Granted her behavior with the kids can be somewhat questionable at times.. with her..most things are borderline.. Which makes life so much more fun.. I think I just really needed the rant..
