India executes only men since 1955. Woman hills 7 people (including children) and is sentenced to death. CNN blames patriarchy: "women who violate entrenched norms of gender behavior are more likely to receive the death penalty." If no woman has ever been executed, how do they conclude this?

The mother butchered the children. The scene was so horrific that first responders are facing mental health issues. The father begged the family court for help. Indifference and prejudice is all that the family courts had to offer this family. So many lives lost. Will this never end?

Denton had been battling Carrillo, his ex-girlfriend, for custody of the boy and two girls for months and repeatedly reached out to the Department of Children and Family Services and police because he knew Carrillo "needed help," Miller said.

"Liliana was very sick, and this is not – she was not herself, and it's been going on for several months that she has been unwell," Miller told Fox 11 LA.

Denton's relatives told the outlet that he received an emergency order in March granting him custody of the children but claimed he did not get any further help. Neighbors reportedly said the children were mostly seen with their grandmother, whom they believed to be their primary guardian.

That's confusing, if he had custody how did she get the kids back? I feel like some information is missing.

Edit: Just want to be clear, this is horrible and I'm not questioning that, I just want to understand what happened better.

I saw a comment on the first post about this that was like "what does this have to do with men's rights?" Like he had to fight for custody against apparently the craziest of bitches.... Can I be done with this planet now?

Family court always fails the children just because the wife said that the husband is abusive or she fears for her safety.

If you feared for your safety you wouldn't have 3 kids with him let's get it together family court.

Family court lawyers call it the silver bullet, they even remove the parts where the mother was the initiator of the violence and then make self defense sound like he was attacking her without cause.

I have heard of it. Who ever does the no contact order first pretty much wins.

Yeah I know a guy who won because he got the order first but still cost him $80k

Just because someone stays in a relationship for a long time doesn’t mean abuse didn’t occur.

[–]Jepekula 22 points23 points24 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Exactly. And it goes both ways. Most guys in abusive relationships don’t even think they’re in an abusive relationship.

[–]SonOfHibernia 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yup, guys know better than women because women abuse men more than the other way around.

[–]Jepekula 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No. Guys know worse because female abuse is so normalized that most guys in abusive relationships just accept it. And oftentimes when they get into a new relationship, it’s just as abusive as the last.

[–]ripyourlungsdave 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't know why you're getting downvoted at all. That's 100% true and very basic knowledge when it comes to abuser/abusee relationships. You don't always see how bad someone is until you have the time for retrospect. I didn't realize how bad my ex-wife had really been til I talked about her in court-ordered therapy after she made a false abuse claim and got me sent to jail.

[–]hadid_w122 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

I think it’s because saying anything that can be interpreted as defending women is triggering these guys.

From what I have read on this subreddit, a lot of the guys on here see men as victims of society and are completely unwilling to acknowledge harm done by men. For example, genuinely believing men are victims of abuse more than women in relationships. It’s not based in reality.

Also, sorry about what happened to you. It’s incredibly unjust and people who try to put false cases on others are worst scum.

According to the LA Times, there was an emergency order granting custody to the father, so the judge in this case did their job.

https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-04-11/woman-arrested-in-death-of-three-children-was-embroiled-in-custody-dispute

Apparently when the father approached the LAPD to help enforce the order they refused to get involved.

So what this might be is a failing of the LAPD, not the courts.

Erik Denton, the father of the children — two girls and a boy — sought custody of them on March 1, according to Tulare County family court documents online.

Denton requested a temporary emergency visitation order from the family court in Porterville on March 4 and petitioned for a mental health evaluation of Carrillo, according to court documents. Orders were drawn up at a March 26 hearing. Another hearing in the case was scheduled for April 14.

In response, Carrillo sought a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Denton on March 12 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to court documents.

In a brief interview with the Los Angeles Times, Denton confirmed he was the father of the three children and said he’d been in a custody battle with Carrillo after she began acting mentally unstable.

Denton said he tried to get local authorities to intervene, but “in L.A. they wouldn’t help. The LAPD would not get involved.” He said Carrillo was supposed to turn over the kids to him on Sunday.

Misandry kills

Transcript:

A Southern California woman who allegedly stabbed her three young children to death had reportedly been "unwell" for months, and the father of the kids is "devastated" after having pleaded with child services to get her help.

Investigators are working to establish a motive after the bodies of the children, ages 3, 2 and 6 months, were discovered by their grandmother when she returned home from work Saturday morning to their apartment in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Times reported.

According to police, the scene was so gruesome that some of the initial responders are now getting counseling.

The mother of the children, 30-year-old Liliana Carrillo, was arrested hours later in Tulare County, about 200 miles north of Los Angeles, after igniting a massive manhunt.

She drove from the scene of the slayings in her car but ended up getting in an altercation that caused her to abandon that car and carjack another vehicle, LAPD Lt. Raul Jovel said.

The father of the children, Erick Denton, "is devastated," according to his cousin, Teri Miller, who spoke with Fox 11 Los Angeles on Sunday.

"He's also frustrated with the system, because the system failed them," Miller said. "The system failed these kids."

Fox News' Paul Best contributed to this report.

Jesus Christ, what is this world devolving to?

[–]Criket 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That doesn't surprise me. 2/3 of kids are murdered by their own mother.

"Teach women to not murder children's"

[–]MBV-09-C 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is bringing up memories of when that father went to relationshipadvice because his wife cheated on him, divorced her, then iirc he finally got custody of the kids (can't remember if it was full or partial) and as they were all sleeping, she killed both of the kids, stabbed herself, then called 911, when he woke up from the air mattress in the basement from her mother screaming at the scene, the wife apparently told him "now you can't take them away from me"

I think even if there weren't massive legal messes making marriage a nightmare for men in general, situations like these would still scare me too much to consider bringing kids into the world.
