Every single time I've posted in one without fail I will get a dm from a man OBVIOUSLY not supposed to be there and OBVIOUSLY preying on young girls with certain anxiety about their body and vaginas. A lot of us on them are younger girls who seek out advice from other women when we have no one else to turn to (bc stigma and sex ed is abysmal in the US), I think it's really hazardous to have those type of groups open to everyone because it's a hunting range for men preying on the anxieties of especially younger women. Last time I posted in one was last week and I got a pm from a 28 year old man with a pornsick degrading comment history subtly asking for vagina pics to "diagnose" me because of concerns I had about my vagina. Bad idea to post there for sure but it's sadly my best bet when I do not have anyone to turn to. Young women should not have to take risk of being preyed on just to get advice and reassurance from other women. I know this isn't exactly the most on topic place to post this but it's better than posting it in some headass feminist sub where I'll get not-all-men'd to death.
