I'm kind of paranoid to even take nudes (for self-image stuff), and sending them to anyone is out of the question. An ex would never delete them, even if they don't send them to their (and your) friends, upload them etc, they'll keep them as leverage and for pleasure.

Men will find anyway possible to sabotage women. Bosses will intentionally hook up with their younger inexperienced female colleagues and then fire them because of company policy. Men will intentionally seek out women half their age so that way they’ll eventually be slaves when these men retire. And many men purposely impregnate women so that they will never be able to go anywhere.

I definitely have never sent a nude or a lewd in my life, so I thought I was safe and truthfully kind of judged women for revenge porn. But then I saw an article on a spate of “revenge porn” that was photoshopped ( like men pasting their exes heads onto other nude bodies), stolen (men doing upskirt videos, planting cameras in hotel rooms, or otherwise stalking women.) The fact that these women didn’t pose for these photos or the photos were fake did not stop them from ruining their lives.I even saw cases where celebrities were stalked and had similar experiences and it was all over the news that stalkers hacked their devices to either leak their nudes or planted cameras and take videos without their knowledge or consent and still, people blamed the women! I realized it’s all about being in a female body. You can live as holy as you want, people are still going to blame you for everything. So yes, never send nudes, do all you can to protect yourself from being used by men, but I no longer blame victims. That was just internalized misogyny.

When I was 16 I was involved with a 24 year old ....he shared my nudes with his 40 yr old uncle who was a friends father. When I found out it was the biggest wtf moment. Apparently her dad ripped a strip off the guy.
