All a woman has to do, in order to ruin a man’s life, is accuse him of rape. Case closed. No evidence is required. It’s up to the man to defend the accusation. The woman needs no evidence. In every other part of the law it’s the accuser who is required to present evidence before a case can be made.

I think playing the victim role has been ingrained in their personality since birth in a lot of cases. I also have to agree that false claims of rape aren't always actual rapes. Take actor Kevin Spacey for example. He was accused of rape but in court was cleared of all charges. It turns out his accuser was trying to extort money from him and he refused to pay her to go away. Nothing happened to her and no charges were filed against her, yet Spacey is blacklisted from Hollywood anyway. The mere accusation of rape can ruin a man even if it's BS.

it ruined me. i am here looking for any kind of escape. i have all the access to alcohol and drugs yet I refuse to take them. can never look in someones eye. i dunno why someone would say something like that, they can never know how it is gonna ruin someones life while she will be in prague taking selfies and laugh enjoy every bit of attention she gets. Karma doesnt exist if something happens to you it happens to you. it cant be changed, human beings are stupid creature, they are manipulated easily and they look at you as the monster. In Washington state, a woman borrowed some pants that had a bindle of some drug in the pocket. She got arrested and fought it all the way to Supreme court, and got her charges dismissed . The law was written that required the accused to prove their innocence, this is unconstitutional. The prosecution must prove guilt, not the other way around. If a man is accused of rape, he is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.

For every heinous crime being accused of it (even without evidence) will always taint your reputation, I follow a lot of mens rights activism but a lot of it is not rooted in common sense.

Although I do realise this is more of a hot topic recently, it's definitely not down to "women having the power." If anything it's a society wide judgement that getting tied up in such legal issues makes the accused somewhat untrustworthy, even if never proven guilty. This judgement is held by men too. It's much more grey than the black and white "woman liars"

I think you're right when it comes to society as a whole, not the legal system. In the legal system the vast majority of false rape claims never make it to an arrest or trial - the same goes for genuine rape claims. This is because there is rarely any actual evidence to work off other than one person claiming rape and the other person denying it.

But, as we all know, the court of public opinion cares little about these things. I fully support the stance that we should be supporting those who speak out about having been raped or assault, but that doesn't mean that we should inherently believe them. We should take what they are saying into consideration and reviewing the evidence and, as unpopular as it is to say, the burden is on them to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that a rape as occured. We shouldn't be expecting people to be defending themselves against claims. And we certainly shouldn't be automatically assuming that because an allogation as been made that it is a genuine one.

I don’t think your statement is always true. I’ve seen people accuse a man of rape and it actually happened, and they never got justice, even when they went to the authoritirs. In some cases, they even had proof, but the case was dropped. However, women can end or severely hinder a man’s life with a false accusation, but we should keep in mind that 90% of cases are true, and all victims regardless of gender are valid.

I totally agree, this is f-d up. I believe this is why my brother killed himself. He was going to be labeled an sex offender without being able to defend himself. I hate men not being afforded due process. As a woman, I thank my brother and our many nasty battles because it allowed my not be the victim but disarm on two occasions. But in the end my brother was the victim. At 20 years old he felt he had no future because of allegations. I do not blame him, if anything I understand. It's a Scarlet letter that will always follow you. If we need a sex predator label, we also need a false accusations label for all these women who hurl accusations. Maybe a Scarlet L.

Damn. It's pretty scary when you do the research and find out that about 1 in 20 women have a borderline personality or narcissism disorder. They can do an awful lot of damage.

This is absolutely not true, innocent until proven guilty still applies and thats y most rape cases r thrown out.

Ofc an arrest will still go on a criminal record which can def be detrimental
