While this divorce process has been stressful, I look back and realize that I’m a better man for it. While married, I was angry, frustrated, depressed. When she said she wanted a divorce, it shocked me. It was a life changing moment for me that make you improve or spiral down and crash. I went to therapy for my anger. Changed my attitude about a lot things, became more accepting of things when they don’t go the way I want them. Learned that while perfection is great, it rarely happens. I also learned the meaning of changing what I can, acceptIng what I can’t and having the wisdom to know which is what. People have said that they notice that I’m no longer angry and explode over trivial things. I’m hoping my kids see the improvement as well. Their Mom told my Mom that they were afraid of me because they never knew what would trigger my anger. I feel better mentally, emotionally, and physically. While I still wonder what my future may be, I’m not the angry guy I used to be. So as painful this situation has been, I’m thankful to be coming out of it a better man.

PS. I also like to thank this community for allowing me to rant, ask questions, share in your experiences and to not feel alone in this world. Being part of this group really helps me. Thank you Brothers.
