So I hooked up with this guy several times, it was amazing and I like(d) him quite a lot. He was very sweet, sexy and focused on pleasuring me. He also made an effort to get to know me, called me the following days (after care) etc.

But after the last time, he asked me through text what I had liked etc, and I told him I'm embarrassed of being specific (new to the sexual scene lol), but he insisted and I opened myself up and told him why I had liked it and what I liked about him. His answer was something like, "Wish other girls saw me like that too." That's it, after I spent like 10-15 minutes 'complimenting' him.

I was seriously like (????). I was vulnerable because HE ASKED and thats the sole thing he answered. No thank you, no saying he also enjoyed himself, or what he liked about me, no... he said he wished other girls thought that!!!! And left it at that. Lmao!!!! Am I over exaggerating, or does this show that he doesn't appreciate me?

Anyway, that was in August, and after that I blocked him without saying anything and moved on. He called a few times but I didn't respond. He was moving elsewhere in September, so even more reason to not care.

Fastforward to yesterday (2 months and a half after we last talked), and I had changed my phone and didn't have my contacts saved, so I receive a call from a random numer and I answer, and it's him.

A bit of context - I have ""recently"" broken up with my ex-boyfriend, who was emotionally abusive, and I've noticed that since then I've gotten very sensitive to disrespect. At the first minimal sight of someone taking me for granted or disrespecting me, I cut them out of my life completely. At first I thought it would just be one person, but so far I've done it to, like, 4-5 people and I'm starting to see a pattern lol. I'm not sure cutting people out like this is healthy, reactionary, or a consequence of the abuse.

So, going back to yesterday's conversation with this guy, I tell him this, and he explains what he meant by that and that I probably overreacted. He says he likes me and wants to keep in contact. I ask him why would we want to keep in contact (he lives far away) and he said to be friends. He asked to be unblocked and I said I'd think about it.

So, I don't want to be friends with him if he's far away, and I certainly don't want a relationship. But I like him, so I unblocked him..... ugh. I like talking to him over the phone, he makes me feel good, but over text it seems like our interest in each other is asymmetric (like I like him more or something). Should I block him again? Thanks.
