About three weeks ago, I (46M, no kids) received official word that the court had approved our judgment. I thought I would be more tangibly elated/excited, but strangely felt kind of emotionless. Not necessarily sad, but not really happy. Just kind of a matter-of-fact realization.

I’ve already paid my car off (joint title, going to take sole title), and paid her initial lump sum settlement payment.

Looking forward to starting fresh. 🙂
